This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The entire body has body liner on it.
“1948 Willy’s CJ2a Jeep. The entire exterior has been rhino lined so it will last forever. The underside has been painted with a truck bed liner for protection as well. New larger gas tank has been added as well as plastics race seats. Runs and drives, but as with most cars this old, could use some maintenance. This Jeep was my granddads and I have loved making it mine, but it’s time to move to a new project. This Jeep is sold as is and buyers will be required to sign a bill of sale.”

“I have a ’48 Jeep with 6′ Jacob’s blade….and for the last 20-years it’s been used to plow a small mountain driveway. I bought it last year thinking I would be able to use it on my mountain drive. However we ended up paving the road and it’s no longer needed. (In all honesty, it’s been just sitting since I brought it home). In that time the brakes have lost pedal, and I know the clutch needs adjusting. But it does run great has a 12v system, electric fuel pump and tire chains. It’s really pretty cool, and I hate to sell it, but….. Currently it’s at a friends house in Lakewood, so please call me to set up a time to see (buy?) it.”

This might have some Kelly Hubs on it (I don’t see the indent that Cutlas hubs have on them). The basket on the rear sure seems like it would be useful.

“This is a Willy Jeep in good condition with many extra parts and pieces. So many extras that I can not list them all. 327 engine..vinyl top. Runs great.. Gone through by a mechanic and it has a new master cylinder..new fuel pump.. Oil change.. only thing wrong is it pops out of 3rd gear.. We have the title. Message me with questions”

“Fully restored 48 Willys CJ-3a (Flatfender). Just over 2,700 miles since completion. Well over 1,800 hours of love and care to make this Willys one of finest flatfenders you will ever find. It has been lovingly frame off restored. Every nut and bolt replaced during the restoration a few years ago. Features Dana 25 Front Axle, Dana 44 Rear Axle (we believe), Dana T90 Transmission, Warn overdrive, Dana 18 Transfer Case, Ford 200 inline 6 cylinder (for more power compared to the original 4 banger).
New steering box, new tilt steering column, new gauges, new clutch, new brakes, new Rancho leaf springs, new Warn hubs, new front bumper, new rear bumper, new wheels and tires, new lights, new wiring, and on and on. The highback seats (with seatbelts) are certainly not what came OEM from Willys but are certainly way more comfortable. Rear Bestop seat functions well and has seatbelts for the kiddos (safety first).
