About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Rusty and Crusty cool old Willys CJ2A Engine runs great, Needs brakes, yard drives the engine and plow both in great shape plow goes up and down manual turn, headlights work, 4 wheel drive works good. Jeep will need some brake work to plow your yard and the body is very rough. starts and runs and drives around the yard … trades !”
“For sale 1946 Jeep Willy’s Project vehicle. I bought this 1946 Jeep Willy’s to rebuild with my grandson we love 4-wheeling and thought it would be a cool project. We torn it apart and now it sits collecting dust taking space in the garage. The Jeep has all the parts, axles, seats, 4-wheel drive components etc. including 2 engines and transmissions. The frame is OK but the body is well let’s say “needs a lot of work look at the pictures! If your looking for a cool Project have the time give me a call. It has a clean title and I am open to offers.”
“I’m selling my 1948 Willys CJ-2A. It’s been a fun project but it’s taking more time than I have to offer. The Willy’s comes with about 1500 in new parts (I already installed all the suspension components). New gas tank, shifter, throttle cables, fuel lines, carb kit, distributor, air cleaner, fuel pump and many, many other parts.
The transmission is missing gears, but I’ve got the body so you can hopefully recoup that core charge.”

“Selling my beautiful 1947 CJ-2A Willys.
Just installed brand new T-90 transmission, D18 transfer case, 30% overdrive, and emergency brake. Has brand new Bestop soft top, all new electrical wiring, new electric windshield wipers, carburetor newly rebuilt, new plugs and plug wires, new electronic ignition, new 12V starter, battery, new gauges, new drivers side mirror, new shocks, and new metal fuel lines, as well as all fresh fluids. Seats have been recently recovered, tires are newer Super Traxxion 6.50×16.
It needs the overdrive shift linkage kit ($78.00) and floor plate and rubber boot ($18.00). Horn needs to be wired. Willys runs but needs someone who knows how to tinker and tune it to perfection.
I have lots of extras including the original oil bath, some new seat belts, and external handles. It also comes with a brand new heater ($399) that needs to be installed. I have almost $18,000 invested and need to sell it”
