About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“This is a 1947 cj2a project that I sadly just dont have the time or money to finish. The rolling chassis is done and has the engine transmission and transfer case. All parts have been sandblasted epoxy primed and painted with a high quality automotive paint. Axles have been gone through, new bearings were installed where needed. The engine has all new gaskets and was rebuild sometime before I owned it, nice crosshatching on the cylinder walls. All new brakes, everything new. New rancho 2.5 inch lift leaf springs.
The bumpers are 1/4 inch rectangular tube cut to look the same as stock. New stock exhaust and radiator(done after pictures were taken). I have a tub that is in good condition but still needs work done to it, it has a new rear floor and rear panels. I have two hoods one in fair shape the other is in good shape, the windshield frame I have is very nice for the age and has glass in it. Also have the grill and drivers fender, missing the passenger fender and tailgate. I have a buch of miscellaneous parts including a heater also and a new plastic fuel tank. Also have both front seats. This does have a clear title in my name.”
“1947 or 1948 Willys Jeep for parts. No Title. Frame and body rusty. No engine, transmission, transfer case or wheels.

“Its built from a bunch of different parts but basically a 47 2A with an F head. Stock axles, 2.5 lift springs and new 35″ tires. Runs and drives good. Put 500 hyway and trail miles on it last summer. It will go 55mph but it struggles with hills. Not a restoration or show jeep. It has scratches, dents and bondo. This was built for trail riding and cruising around town. I have a modified cj5 steel half cab for it too. ”
“1951 Willys CJ3A Jeep, L-134 engine, T90 manual 3 speed transmission, Dana 18 transfer case, Dana 25 front differential, Dana 44 rear differential. Engine runs very well but has 50 psi compression (a bit weak). Shifts great, drives good. “Mile Marker” MM front locking hubs. Solid body and frame, no rust. New carter carburetor, new gas tank, like new soft top, great tires. Basically a real nice rig.”
“1948 WILLYS JEEP FOR SALE! IF YOU LOVE JEEPS YOU WILL LOVE THIS JEEP! This jeep has lots of rust but even more character. I bought it with intentions to make a cool little cruiser. It does not have any interior. the motor will start but I never attempted to drive it. come and take and make it your own. original flat head 4 cylinder engine.”
“Selling this jeep. It has been in storage for a few years. Fully restored with soft top and doors. Includes original hard top (not restored) and a few spare parts.
New battery, spark plugs, and ignition coil or condenser. Brake pedal is loose, and likely only needs a flush.
No trades.”
