This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (03/03/2018) “jeep is to be parted out, what ever parts you need call or text me, the whole jeep with out motor or transmission can be bought for $1000 or parted out. The Mercedes motor/transmission is also for sale it has 60k miles on it. That’s for sale for $1,200. If you showed up with close to $2000 and wanted the whole thing I wouldn’t say no. Deploying soon. Need gone ASAP.”

“I have for sale a 1947 Willys CJ 2A that has been owned by our hunting club since 1959. We have a paper title and was donated to the club by a previous member. It was used to drive and the property. We have decided that it is time to sell it to someone looking for a old Willys. It runs and drives. Has the original 6 volt electrical system. No canvas. The original motor was replaced by the club member that owned it, but he has passed away many years ago so that is all we know. Axle numbers match, but engine numbers do not. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or arrange to look it over. There is some damage on the back passenger side wheel well, other than that the tub is in fine shape for it’s age.”

Travis shared this odd-bodied jeep. Is that a cut down 3A windshield?
“custom body on a frame off rebuild about 10yrs old. motor completely done, as well as suspension drive train etc. body is extremely strong. made of 1/8 inch plate steel. undercoated. jeep could use a bath and a little tlc and maybe some camo paint. 3 way plow included. registered and inspected–runs and drives good. tranny has a chipped tooth in 1st and reverse gear still drives ok but you will hear a clicking sound other than that this thing is a tank. it will go anywhere. strong and dependable. we are moving and can not take with us.”
