About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“This Jeep runs great! It has new tires, seats, lights, the gauges work, paint job, this was started as a restoration project, very far along for anyone who would like to finish it. I have some original parts maybe even the manuel just have to do some digging.”
As the seller notes, this will need a lot of work and cash to run again.
“1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep Barn Find (Sorry, I had the year wrong on the previous posting.) No title-to be sold on Bill of Sale for restoration or parts. Cannot verify but was told that the engine had been rebuilt?? Needs a lot to be driven again, but could make someone a challenging project.”
“Original top and racks included, original paint in great condition, leather for seats and tires replaced 10 years ago. In great working order, wonderful for off-roading. Minimal use in last 10 years.”
“This is an almost all original 1947 CJ2A Jeep Willys. Great shape for its age. Still 6v system. Painted as a military jeep but from what I can find it was one of the civilian models made just after WWII. I DO NOT have a Title.
New battery, plugs, wires, coil, rebuilt starter. Good compression turns over fine. I have not at this time of posting this have the motor running. I am currently working on it.
Carburetor needs rebuilt and transmission shifting arm need cleaned so it will go into gear. Needs some wiring redone. I am sure it will need fluids changed and would make a great authentic after the war era jeep.
“I had no plans on selling this jeep, but need cash more than the Willys. It was modified for a movie.
The tub is a 1945 wartime MB jeep. It has newer tires, new glass, new regulator, and a newer rebuilt generator. It is 12 volts. The engine is a 1953 Hurricane engine. Has a T90 transmission. It is a driver, and is old, but is a blast. The carb leaks a little, but I have a brand new one that goes with the jeep.”
“Have a old jeep project for sell lotta money in parts munci rock crusher warm overdrive Saginaw wilwood 307 small block from 69 camero needs lil work to drive fun project make offer will pop williys”
