About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1946 Jeep Willey’s CJ2A, early civilian for sale. This Jeep has been converted to 12 Volts and is very rough around the edges but the engine and transmission work, run, and are original. Engine smokes and there is rust/rot on the floor pan. This is a perfect candidate for conversion/ restoration. Best offer will be accepted.”
This has a DJ-3A body on a CJ 4×4 chassis of some kind. It’s listed as a 1953, but DJ-3As weren’t made until 1956.
“This little Willys Jeep has a completely rebuilt drivetrain, motor, trans, and rearends. Has all new brakes and aluminum wheels with like new tires. Body is a 1953 DJ-3A, solid floors and good shape overall.
Runs and drives great, racing seats, gas tank and battery mounted in the back. Still needs gages wired and a roll bar and windshield, still a project. No title, but these have the screw on ID tags. Buy a non-running old rusted out Willys with a title and you’re done.
Looking to trade for a 3/4 ton or a one ton pickup, or another Jeep, or cash works, asking $2200, Trade $2500.”

-Rancho springs
-I have the signed old tittle with it
-open to all offers and trades tell me what you have or shoot me an offer. ”
“1947 Willys CJ-2A Jeep. There is a long story behind this jeep. The short of it is, my father purchased it in 1948 from a lady that thought it had blown the engine. I took it over in 1973 after it really did have a blown engine. Restored it and used it as transportation all over Arizona through college years. It sits a lot now and needs a good home.
Mostly original. Besides TLC it needs the radiator repaired and left front hub replaced. Besides those it is in good mechanical condition and is mostly original. The 134-4 cylinder engine runs smooth, and the T90 transmission is like wise in good condtion. Quite a few extra parts including springs, axles original hubs, etc”
“1947 Willy’s jeep CJ2A. Will crank up, but needs work to be drivable. Has a Ramsey pto drive winch. I found another project, so I need to sell this one.”
“1948 CJ2A jeep titled. complete Koenig steel top. Koenig pto drive winch. Engine turns freely. Surface rust only. Great jeep to rebuild or fire up and drive.”
It’s a project, but unclear what all needs to be done.
“Selling a 1940’s military willys. I do have some documents for the vehicle. Needs body work but most important the original 4 cylinder engine is not in it! For whatever reason the previous owner put a V-6 in it. Other wise great project car, solid, and a wonderful piece of history. Please call if you are interested between respectable hours of the day.”
(07/23/2016)The body looks in reasonably good shape.
“I have a 1947 CJ2A chassis with an aftermarket MB body. Jeep has been sitting outside for 15+ years. Body and frame are in exceptional shape despite this. Hood, windshield frame and grill have been kept inside and are perfect. Have some parts…see pics. Motor is locked up but not frozen, trans is as well. broke a spark plug also, again, see pics. Have paper work. Price is firm.”
