About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“’48 Willys Jeep CJ2a. All original flat head 4cyl., 3speed, 2spd transfer case. Only 61000 miles. Runs like a top. Also has metal doors for the hardtop. Good tires and brakes. Some rust. Has tow bar. Great hunting rig , gets good gas mileage.”
The body might have some rust along that passenger side. The front frame rails have been extended.
“1947 Jeep Willys
Nearly all original. 6 volt system
A2 Farm Version. Rough body, not restored or it would be $12k.
Painted with my Army Unit (160th SOAR) Google it
L134 motor. Starts right up, runs good, goes straight down the road
Very few of these on Maui, none like this one, none at this price.
Shipped in from WA last year. Clean title. Unknown miles.”
(03/03/2015) It’s been a few years since it ran. Has a Newgren 3 Point Hitch.
“Rare Willys Agri-Jeep 1948 with PTO and 3 point hitch, has rust, was running a few years ago, has aluminum plate on back bumper for 3 pt. hitch. Price is firm. Serious inquires only. No text messages please.”
“This jeep is as original as I could keep it with required repairs and safety upgrades. It has the 134L Go-Devel engine and three speed gearbox/two lever transfer case and is set up to shift into low range while in 2WD if desired.
All lights except headlights are LED so it is not original, several other items
were also added/changed, such as power brake/vacuum assist hydrovat added,
rear fenders/flairs to keep from getting mud & rocks flung up the back of my
arm, custom gas tank (alum). seats came out of a 69 Ford van and were recently
repaired and recovered. No heater. manual wipers, windshield glass is from heavy
equipment stock cut to fit. Continue reading →
“1946 Willys CJ2A
Runs, drives, stops. Early Cj2a, serial number 49,xxx. Overall in good condition for its age, good start for a complete restoration or a complete custom Willys. Original drive train, originally Pasture Green.
Looking for something wife/kids will be able to drive as well.
Only trade I would consider is a 4.0L 6 cylinder manual Jeep YJ or TJ Wrangler.”
Has some full floating rears. If driving, my head would probably hit that roller if I moved it to my left.
“Original flat four motor
Runs just needs a Battery
Extra transmission
Extra running gear
2 sets of Rims and Tires
Has tow bar hooks right up come take it away today
Clean title in hand”
“1946 Willy jeep. Original flat head 4 cylinder. Jeep is complete less wind shield, tailgate and seats.
Engine turns over freely. Carb need to be rebuilt.”
“1946 Willys CJ-2a Jeep with 4 cylinder flathead engine. The engine appears to have been rebuilt or replaced. I have not been able to get it started as the starter will not engage. This would make a great Jeep for driving on the beach at Pismo because it’s rusted already. The tub is pretty rusty but the engine and chassis seem to be in good shape and the seat frames need upholstery. I do not have a windshield. When I bought the Jeep I was told it was running when it was parked some odd years ago. I have a clean title in my name and it’s registered on non-op as of July 2016.”
