This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a really nice and clean 1948 Willy Overland/ Jeep CJ2 for sale. It has a Buick 215 aluminum V-8 engine, T90 3 speed transmission, T18 2 stick transfer case – with the rare Warn over drive attached. The axles are 5.38, wheels are 15 x 8. It has the original dash and firewall data plates. Dual gas tanks with transfer valve. New battery. GM saginaw steering conversion. I have the original back seat for it, as well as a bolt on rear rack with high lift jack attached. It has a nearly new Mile Maker PE6000 winch. Has a tow bar and light cable. I am selling this for a family friend who lost her husband to cancer. This was his hunting vehicle a couple times a year and was not a daily driver. I have 2 buddies that are Willy’s experts, so I can get any Willy/Jeep questions answered for you. We do not know much of the history of this Jeep, except that same guy has owned it since 1982. ”
