About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(03/19/2016) Has variety of mods, including full floating hubs, an updated engine, and the incorrect grille.

“For Sale is a 1946 Willys Cj2A with 52K original miles. It has the original 134 Cubic Inch inline 4cylinder engine, T90A 3 Speed transmission with rare column shift, Spicer 18 transfer case and Dana axles. It is 4X4 with high and low gear that work as intended. The carburetor was just rebuilt and it runs great with good clutch and brakes, the parking brake works as well. The water pump, the fuel tank and the fuel pump were just replaced. All lighting, gauges, turn signals and horn work as they should. This vehicle also has the rare heater box under the dash. This vehicle was a barn find and has just been recently repainted with olive drab green paint as you can see in the pics. It has less than expected rust for a vehicle of its age and has a very solid frame. The seats were also redone. The Jeep was recently displayed in a local car show and received numerous compliments. It is fun to drive or show. I will entertain any REASONABLE offer.”

“Purchased this ‘lil Jeep several years ago and shipped it from Washington state to upstate NY. Have loved it ever since. Hate to sell this and my other Jeep listed, but am planning a move and can’t take all my toys with me. This Jeep has been built by/with some of the best names in Off-Road engineering, such as Advance Adapters, Novack Enterprises, Walck’s 4WD and Olympic 4WD (have all reciepts). Comes with a lot of spare parts, etc. if interested.
Interesting wiring strategy along the frame. I wonder how that will work out.

looking for a good running bike. prefer a cruiser , but will look at other offers.”
Looks mostly stock. Could be a good “drive as is” while restoring bits at a time.
“1947 Willys Jeep. Very good condition with minor surface rust (Patina). Original condition with only newer style wheels and seat covers changed. Motor rebuilt 2000 miles ago runs like a top. Good Willys for restoration or just a nice driver. Price Firm compared to the junk out there for 2500.”
“’47 Willys CJ2A for sale. Restored by the previous owner, this Jeep is a nice little runabout with some flair. I bought it from a Navy man who painted it in the livery of the ship on which he served and used it at one of their reunions for rides and a photo shoot. If you are not into naval history, the markings are all vinyl and could be peeled off. The frame was stripped and blasted, then treated with a preservative paint for auto frames. The fiberglass body is, of course, impervious to rust, but the tailgate and grill are original. The Jeep has a newer BesTop, made in the USA. The tires were new Firestones installed with the resto and now have less than 600 miles on them. Continue reading →
It’s a project, despite the pics showing it in the dirt.
