About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I was going to restore a 1946 Willy’s CJ2A (VEC). I have a very decent body, clean title and a pile of parts that go with it. My intentions were to restore this and it kills me to let this go but medical bills say otherwise.
(12/05/2013) “We have owned a number of Jeeps through the years and these are the last four we have for sale. 1975 CJ5 has 41k actual miles and includes many extra parts such as a 30 gal aux tank, new black seats and supports, and a new old stock Brass and Copper AMC Radiator.
The 1952 M38A1 was a US Army model with USGI winch. All mechanics on the Jeep were rebuilt back on the 1970’s but had been stored since Grand-dad died in 1998. The 1978 RHD DJ is very solid–runs great–and has extra passenger seat installed. The 1957 CJ has only 8k miles on it–very solid body with some unusual US Army Air Corps features (extended top bows and windshield and full floor cut out on door sills)–all factory. $3500 each or $12,000 package price.”

There is no engine or trans/transfer case, but I will include some transmissions and transfer cases and parts with the jeep. There are some extra parts that go along with the jeep. “1946 Willys CJ2A for sale. Originally belonged to my dad, it was his toy. I inherited the jeep back in the 1990’s. It has remained garaged and unused for over 13 years. The title could not be located when he passed away, but I do have adequate probate paperwork reflecting my proof of ownership. Not an easy decision to let it go, but it should be used more often and I really could use the garage space again.
Buick V6, 2-barrel Carburetor, Hydraulic Clutch, Buick (tilt) Steering Column, Power Steering, Tow Bar.
New wheel cylinders, brakes and turned rotors all around. Also new Battery and cables, new chrome air cleaner and element.Runs, drives and stops great. For off road use only. Video of Jeep running here: http://youtu.be/LG6nnBhXKCA”
(05/05/2014) Runs and drives, but needs some body work.
“For sale is this 46 Willys running/driving project. Drivetrain good. Good frame, grill, windshield, fenders, & hood. 16 inch wheels. Ford (GPW) head. New clutch & pedal linkage. Rebuilt carb & waterpump. Body rough but includes better repairable body. Bill of sale, not titled.”
The owner contacted me and sent a photo of what this jeep looked like prior to the work that was done. It appears this was some type of APU jeep. Note the hood and the holes in the dash.
