About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“1953 Willy’s Jeep CJ3A 4 speed with a chevy V8. Warren overdrive, power steering, full cage rollbar, 10 in brakes, 10 in tires, tilt wheel, rear seat, corvette aluminum cross flow radiator, and a 4 barrel carborator. Not sure on the miles but no more than 15,000. We are asking $7000.00. Jeep has been in the garage its whole life and is in great shape. This is a fun jeep!”
The body looks to be DJ, but the pics aren’t good enough to tell much more than that. It’s still 2WD, but not clear if that’s due to a lack of a front drive line or lack of a front R&P.
“1953 Willy’s Jeep, Frame off restoration with custom features. 2 Wheel Drive, former military jeep. Three on the tree manual transmission. Perfect for a Beach Mobile! Don’t need help selling, no low ball offers.”
“Clean title, 1953 Willys jeep. Has a new rebuilt Willys 6cyl Super hurricane. A new rebuilt tranny and transfer case. has a lot of parts. Asking 3200”
“1949 Willys CJ3A Fire Engine Jeep. This is a Boyer conversion. This jeep is very complete, original, and unrestored. This jeep has less less than 3200 miles on the odometer. Lots of the original accessories are still place. I understand that some of the nozzles are collectible.
The jeep has been in long term storage since it was taken out of service in 1980. The jeep is not currently running but the engine is not stuck. It will turn over by hand. The jeep was driven into the storage building that I found it in. I bought this jeep from the first civilian owner. Since this is an all original jeep, I have done nothing to it. I have not even washed the nearly 40 years of dust off of it. You are getting a very complete and untouched original fire engine jeep here. Continue reading →
“1950 willys Jeep CJ-3A has been fully restored, runs, drives, stops excellently and is ready to hit the road, trails, parade, car show, or WW3. The highly sought after go devil engine runs strong and starts first turn. 3 speed manual transmission functions as it should with no hesitation as does 4×4 high and low.
“After 7 years I am sad but it’s time for my Jeep to have a new friend behind the wheel. It’s a 1950 WILLYS still 6 volt. Mechanical fuel pump. Engine, trans, brakes, etc have less than 500 miles. Seats have been redone. I have a rear seat frame and for the right price will finish rebuilding the back seat to match.
The Jeep was purchased by me for a film that came out in 2012. It has a nice petina. Tires are solid Armstrong’s. I have a manual, spare parts, etc. It comes with a gas can on the back, tow hitch, and matching spare tire (not picture). More pics to come
Jeep is registered and runs and drives as well as is should. Room for this to be a $15K + Jeep in the future. Has been around the block but not super hammered or molested like most Jeeps of this age.
Leaks like old cars do. I have 6 cars and need to thin out since I just got my fav vintage BMW to restore and need garage space.”
