About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Seller claims no rust, yet there’s a patch in the passenger side.
“1954 willy 3b high hood. Rebuilt motor and tranny. Original 4 cylinder, new radiator, windshield and brakes, line lock brake system. Both seats good shape ..no rips. No rust in floor board ect.”
“1953 Willys CJ-3b (high hood)
Not too pretty and not very fast but a good solid old Jeep.
I cut out rust and patched floors and hat channels.
No heat or a/c, no cruise control, no power steering or power brakes, no top.
Everything works except fuel gauge and windshield wiper.”
Jim’s sold and shipped a variety of jeeps over the past decade. I imagine the cut hood and lower grill was meant to add visibility, but I can’t say for sure.
“The perplexed look on peoples faces when they see 4 shifters sticking up through the floor board is priceless. I’ve owned this Jeep for nearly 5 years with no plans to ever sell it but with a family of 4 (+3 dogs) I never drive it. On top of that we’re building a house at 8100 ft on the mountain and without a garage I can’t stand to see it sit outside anymore. This Jeep was professionally built, no “hack work” on this rig. Adult owned, never abused, I’ve only driven it to town and on the back roads around the lake where I live. Continue reading →
Has some large side steps. Appears to have liner on the interior.

(05/28/2017) “1958 Willy’s Jeep CJ-3B Navy Department issue. My Dad has owned this Willy’s since 1995 and used it on his property until 2010 and parked it. He never registered it and does not have a title. I does run but will need a new water pump (seized) and fuel pump. The carb. needs to be rebuilt. He has three original wheels. Engine number matches the Willy’s ID plate.”
“1953 CJ3B Willys unfinished project
4 cylinder overhead cam F – Head engine has less than 10 hours run time since complete rebuild by local engine shop. Fully functioning 4WD high and low range. Jeep runs and drives very good. Jeep has original steel grill, hood, firewall, dash, windshield and tailgate. The main body tub was custom built out of 1/8” steel plate(see photos). This thing will not rust out any time soon. Starter and ignition systems have all new wiring. Also included is an Allstate brand aluminum hard top with doors that was originally available for Willy’s from Sears. Except for steel body tub and bucket seats, Jeep has not been modified – all OEM driveline, 6 – volt system, brake system, original gauges, etc.
CASH ONLY – ABSOLUTELY NO TRADES – DON’T ASK Continue reading →
“This is a 1962 CJ3B with a 289 ford engine. running gear is stock with 4:27 gears. I started to rebuild this but moved and don’t have a place for it or time. Engine will need rebuilt. Should have all the parts for it. I am starting to pull all the parts out of storage. Have 2 hoods, 2 windshield frames, 1 with glass. Open to offers but will not give it away. I had to put a price but it is more than”
Could be a good price for the right person. Needs some items.
“All original bumper to bumper and top to bottom. Just had the original starter refurbished and it’s ready to install. I love this jeep but she deserves someone with more time than I have to give. Needs tires , seat covers, and a minor tune-up. It was used only a couple weeks out of each year for deer hunting purposes by previous owner till starter went. Then it sat for a few years till I bought it. Reasonable offers considered but like I already said, I love this JEEP”
(07/21/2017) Craig shared this one. Seller wants $6000 for all the jeeps.
“I have 4 Willys Jeeps. ’49, ’60, ’65, & ’69. I have titles to all except the ’69. The ’49 alone is worth the price of entire lot. I want $6,000 for ALL. I will NOT separate at this time! I may sell the ’49 by itself but prefer to sell the whole lot. Please don’t text me asking me for a book of information back and forth. It’s much easier to CALL! I can also help with transport AFTER the deal has been made. I am willing to trade the entire lot up or down for a TJ or JK Jeep. May be interested in other trades but Jeep preferred. I thought I would have time for a few projects but that has changed so I’m selling them all. It would honestly be easier to come in person and check them all out. Missing parts here, extra parts there, etc. PLEASE no calls or texts after 11pm.”
