Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It’s supposed to be a ’57, but it doesn’t have the later gauge setup. The chassis indicates it is a ’54.

This is supposed to have 11,000 original miles. Given the speedometer does not look original, this may not be accurate. Still, this looks very original and in good shape.

Looks solid, but a 1964 wouldn’t have the WILLYS branding on the hood or tailgate. It also would have had a place for the parking brake, but that is absent on this one.
