(02/06/2018) Seller is feeling out the market, so not sure how serious.
“Just putting this out there. I don’t want to sell it for sure. 1953 Willys CJ-3B. The “ugly duckling” of CJ jeeps. Engine, transmission, frame, etc. all original. Original body minus the areas I patched for rust. Patches came from another 3B loaner body. Body and paint in good shape for saying I’m not a professional car guy. Engine has been rebuilt and bored .030 to fix a cracked block. One piston was sleeved. Too much to say about this rig. It’ll take you anywhere you want to go, as long as you’re not in a hurry.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500
Nice half soft top.
“Nice shape excellent body no patch panels. This is a CJ3B with the high hood.Runs and drives fine, transmission is noisy in 3rd gear.No other issues.$7500.Also have a 1946 Bantam military trailer for $2000.Have clear NY registrations for both.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was Trade only.
Looks like that is a late model CJ-3B based on the grille. Now sure there’s much value here.
“45-55 jeep willys project for trade

“Runs and drives great! Great conditionNew tires, winch, lots of new parts Detroit lockers front and rear dana44 dana30”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $13,500.
Check out the first pic. It may be an optical illusion, but I’d be very interested to measure the distance between the driver’s front tire and driver’s front frame rail vs the front passenger tire and frame rail. It looks like the wheel sticks out farther on the passenger side.
“Frame off cj3b 350 chevy with headers true duals needs a battery and a section of exhaust replaced Dana 44 axles 355 running gear fully synchronized three speed trans all new gauges fuel tank relocated to rear and is aluminum eldebrock intake and new eldebrock 650 off road carb, tilt steering hydroloc brakes and clutch 31×10.50 tires on Mickey Thompson classic two wheels I am sure I am forgetting things cash only”

(02/03/2018) This might have the largest passenger grip bar I’ve run across.
