About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have a 1950’s Willys Jeep for sale. The motor runs great, smooth, and no smoke. All the electrical needs rewiring, as some of the wires are broken and the insulation is falling off too. The master cylinder is frozen as the brake pedal won’t move and the air cleaner is missing. Also, there is a hand operated plow set up on it, but I do not have the plow itself. There is no paper work with this, but I will include a bill of sale.”

“I bought this 1953 Willys CJ3B in Georgia back in July and drove it 1600 miles (cruising speed 35mph, 10 plus hours a day) from Georgia back to Boston over the course of 4 days. This jeep is reliable to say the least! From what I know it was owned by an elderly gentleman for the past 20 plus years and kept in his drive in basement. He would use it to drive into town once a week for lunch at the local diner. Continue reading →
“1958 cj3b willys jeep. In great shape. Has original hard top, motor, rims, and doors. Has new fuel pump, water pump, radiator, and brakes. Has some rust but nothing major.. runs perfectly. 4 wheel drive works excellent.. your welcome to make me a offer.. no title as most states do not require on vehicles of this age.”
“1960 Jeep Willys CJ-3B with a great running original Hurricane engine. Everything on this Willys is in working order. It is road worthy with a good, clean Pennsylvania title, registration and antique license plates. This vehicle has always been kept in a garage and all aspects of this vehicle are in good or better than good condition except for, the body which needs work (There’s rust in the usual places) and it needs a new fly-wheel which I’ve purchased but not installed.
I purchased the Willys in January 2013 from the estate of its original owner. The original owner’s primary use was to plow his home and business driveways. My primary use was to plow my camp driveway and to pull a 700-pound Disc Harrow and Cultipacker combination unit to plant food plots for hunting. Because of how well this Willys operates I believe it has very low miles on it. The odometer has less than 16,000 miles but, the estate of the original owner wasn’t in a position to certify the mileage on their title transfer.
To my knowledge everything on this Willys is original except for the new parts I installed, which are:
I suspect this is a 1948 CJ-2A with a 3B fiberglass body. It appears to be a Bobcat body based on the wide rim around the edge. Could be a good price.
“Willys high hood. Fiberglass tub and hood. Steel fenders, grille, and windshield frame. New gunmetal pearl paint. Buick 231 v6 with edelbrock carb and intake manifold. 3 speed transmission. Warn overdrive. Front disc brakes. Aluminum radiator. New seats. Soft with 1 small tear in back. 33’s with a lot of tread. Overall pretty nice rig.”
“Stock: 4 Cylinder, F Head, 3 Speed, with O/D. Electronic Ignition, 12 volt ALT, Power Steering, 2″ lift. Later year: Breaks, Springs, Shocks, Tilt Steering column. 32″ x 10″ Super Swampers. Runs and drives good.
Partial trade considered.”
(03/10/2017) This has some tool indents on the passenger side. It must have a panel replacement.
“I have a 1961 Jeep Willys CJ3B Jeep for sale . It is the ” high hood ” Jeep with the 4cyl. Hurricane engine. The jeep has recieved quite a bit of love since I bought it. The engine was completly re-built, new clutch, new brakes , new front end steering components , new shocks, new leaf springs, new e-brake cable, new dash cluster, new seats and military grade canvas cushions, new muffler, new fuel tank, sending unit, fuel pump . Tires are in great shape, the four wheel drive works just fine, Jeep starts right up everytime. It has been very dependable for me. It has a three speed standard transmission. My priority was to make sure all the mechanical items were in great condition. The Jeep is as it looks in the pictures, I do not have a top or doors to go with it . The frame is in very good condition and the body is not to bad. It is a great summer time cruiser. I would like to sell it so I can look for a Jeep Scrambler. No trades unless it’s a Jeep Scarmbler. Thanks for looking ! Feel free t
