About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have for sale a ’63 Cj3b. This has the original 4 cylinder, 3 speed, and 4 wheel drive. The engine turns over. The previous owner told me it fires up but I haven’t tried. This is an excellent restoration vehicle. I have a clean title in my name. Extra hood and a seat frame is included. This Jeep has wheels and tires that are almost brand new. ”
“1953 Jeep Willys project vehicle, ready for owner who wants to get her back on (or off) the road! V8 conversion with a 283 from a 1957 Chevy. Most engine parts included but not installed, the block is installed. Transmission needs work.3″ shackle-over suspension lift. Corbaeu 5 point harness racing seats included. Needs a lot of love, but definitely worth it, so please call or email!”
Know very little about this Jeep. Except it did run and think it needs new crank bearing because of knocking noise. Does not run now! Been sitting at barn for years and want it gone. Thanks $1000″
“RESTORED 1953 JEEP CJ3B TOO MANY NEW PARTS TO LIST BUT HERE IS A START: NEW TUB, SEATS, GAUGES, TIRES, RADIATOR. BRAKES ALL GONE THROUGH. TRANSMISSION AND TRANSFER CASE ALL REBUILT. NICE OLD JEEP. EMAIL WITH ANY QUESTIONS.”
Given the solid rear and extra gas tank on the passenger side, could this be an aftermarket body? I recently found an ad for a California company that sold 2A/3A bodies with gas inlets on both sides. Maybe they did 3Bs, too?
“1961 CJ3B. I bought this about 15 years ago with dreams of restoring it ( with some improvements). The body work is done and it looks awesome. Entire body was straightened, sand blasted and painted professionaly. I had the body shop rhino line the underside and engine compartment. There is no rust or bondo.
I also had a new Chevy 350 in it. I believe it has a T-18 transmission. All I know is the top speed is about 45 but it will climb anything. The tires and rims have less than 100 miles on them. This is a cool jeep and if I had time for it I would replace the suspension. Over 15k invested in bodywork and paint alone. ”
(07/28/2016) The tires have rubbed the inner wheels wells a bit.
“Grandpa’s amazing & rare 1961 Jeep Willys CJ3B High Hood for sale, 4×4, runs like a champ, comes with a 4 cylinder F4-134 Hurricane 14 F Head Engine with T-90 Transmission, and Dana 18 transfer Case that was all rebuild 3yrs. ago. 100% brand new tires on original rims. A real head turner ready for fun, looks it’s age, clean title in hand, ”
