Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1946 CJ2A F4-Type motor runs and drivers. 4 wheel drive all works. Needs work to be road worthy. Tow bar. Push out windshield works. Tires in very good shape like new. Bucket seats. Brakes need work. New ignition system. Most electrical works.
1954 CJ3B no motor but has everything else. Bench seat in great shape. Extra motor parts (V6). Soft doors. Fold down windshield works.
$3000 or best offer for both. Will sell individually. Great for a summer project. Can deliver if needed within reason.”

“This is an authentic 1954 Willys Jeep. It was given to my dad by the original owner, my dad passed it to my son who has absolutely no interest. I need to sell to pay for last year of college tuition. Original hard top, stored inside. This vehicle has always been stored indoors. Includes a new wiring harness my dad wanted to install before his health failed. No electrical issues, he just always was “piddling” with this fun little vehicle. Soft top included which has a value of about $800. This price is NOT NEGOTIABLE, I have done the research and price is fair and reasonable. Only serious inquiries from collectors will be answered. Title is clear and in hand.”

“1963 CJ3B Willy’s Jeep
Born July 1963 at the “Four Star Garage” in Gunnison
(Been in the same family ever since)
Completely rebuilt F-Head engine
(Has approx. 200 miles on the engine.)
Body was taken off and the T-90 transmission and both rear ends fluids were changed and all seals were checked for leaks.
New pinion seal replaced in the rear end.
Brakes all the way around.
New exhaust system from motor to tail pipe.
New tail lights and turn signals.
New seat covers
Painted original color
Speedometer don’t work
(Needle fell off speedometer)
Has cracked windshield.”

New to country. Gas 2.0L 4 cylinder. 2h, 4h, 4L. 4 speed manual. 38,000km. Auction grade 3.5C. Deep dish JDM rims with full tread thick tires. light rust on paint and body. Runs perfect. licensed by Jeep, made by Mitsu.
1, Exhaust pipe and muffler can use replacement.
2, Engine, transmission strong
3, Transfer case very responsive
4, All lights and signal lights proper working order
5, All gauges on instrument proper working order
6, All electronics on instrument seem proper working order (but have not tested everything yet, only removed top 2 days ago out of winter).
7, Aftermarket MoMo steering wheel, aftermarket comfy chairs. All upgrades done by previous Japanese owner, I didn’t do anything.
8, According to auction paper, car was repainted sometime ago to white in its 37 year history.”
Might make a good project.
“1954 CJ3B Willys Jeep Project. Clean title in my name. Sandblasted and painted, rhino lining in floor and bed. Front half of the floor was replaced including the tool box floor and hat channels. Seats are like new. Has Saginaw steering. I have the original front and rear ends, both in good shape, as well as those from a donor CJ7. I have a Dauntless 225 V6 with flywheel that came from a cj5. Started easily, ran good, no smoke , knock or strange noises. Have headers as well as expensive aftermarket motor mounts and expensive aftermarket aluminum radiator with cap and tank for automatic transmission cooling. New signal and tail lights, roll bar, new gas tank with cap, other odds and ends as well as take off parts. No transmission, but comes with a D18 twin stick transfer case.I also have a Dana Spicer 23 rearend from a GPW.”
