These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I am selling my 1956 willys cj3b. It is fairly straight for a willys it has rust but not as bad as most. The majority if the rust is in the floor pans. It has a a hardtop which is very rare to find for a willys I do not have the doors for the hardtop. The hardtop is in very good condition. The motor is not locked up I messed with it earlier this year an had it running on starting fluid. I do not have a title for it because it came from kansas but u can give a bill if sale. I am asking 1200.00 obo.”

“Never hought I would do this but my 1953 Willys Jeep CJ-3B is for sale. Solid original Jeep from central Florida, not the rusted out junk you usually see. I bought this when I lived in FL in 1991 and drove it all over there. In fact, the in-plant parking sticker from Tropicana is still on the front bumper. Drove it for 2 or three years before moving north again and have not driven it on the road since, just around my last two places in the woods. It has an Indiana title. Still has the 6-volt system and original gauges, etc. The front seats were re-upholstered in a dark burgundy very high quality vinyl with new foam. I still have the very rare rear seat in the original color but can direct you to the place that did the front seats. It needs some detail things taken care of but nothing major and it is not some POS rat trap. Just things like the tail light lens is broken, speedo cable broke three or four years ago when I went out in the bad ice storm in front of the house to help get cars over the hill, wiper is not connected and stuff like that. This was the first year for the engine, which is the F Head with the overhead valves on the intake and in block exhaust valves. I believe it was used in the CJ5 until 1965. Parts are not a problem. “

“1953 Willy’s. Has all the original parts. The original, F head 134 motor has been rebuilt and runs good. All original drivetrain. IT RUNS AND DRIVES !!! Needs paint but, you can still see the original traces of the air force blue. Perfect for a restoration into a ww2/korea army jeep. Ihave all the original parts that have been replaced in the photos.”
“Restored jeep cj3b. Almost everything newly redone. Original 4 cylinder engine runs great! Only driven in summer when weather and roads are good. $7,000. I have the original hardtop that it came with all doors etc., but those have not been redone”
“I have a pair of (2) Willys Jeep CJ3B’s. I have clear MN titles for both of them including up to date license plates on both of them. One runs and drives nice, has the F head 4 cylinder motor that purrs like a kitten. 3 speed manual transmission shifts nice and both high and low four wheel drive works nice. I installed a brand new brake master cylinder and new brake lines last Fall. Wheel cylinders should be replaced. Changed oil and filter and gear lube in both front and rear differentials as well as transmission and transfer case gear lube. Tires all hold air. Body is rough but repairable. Rear crossmember will need to be replaced. Frame appears to be solid. Other jeep has the Buick Dauntless V6 motor that does fire on spray gas but I have not had time to get it running. This motor has Offenhauser intake manifold with 4 barrel carb and exhaust headers. Frame is really nice. Body has had some patch work done at one time but is in much better shape then body on first jeep. I am asking $3200 for a package deal. I prefer to sell them as a pair and I feel the buyer would be happy to get them as a pair to build one nice Jeep. Tires are in good shape on number 2 Jeep.”
