Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a 1947 jeep willys crawler project I have a body with complete roll cage and custom re enforced frame with dana 44 front and dana 60 in the rear 38×12.5×16.5 super swampers custom power steering pump and mounted on frame tranny and transfer case to a dodge and xtra transfer case to a ford xtra frame for a willys and a dully axle no eng but was going to put an inline six in this would make a great crawler no doubt orig tailgate and grill with waterproof seats to go with. Leaf springs 5in shackle extended ubolt for big lift”

“I will sell or trade for an AR15 223 or 308. This is a project that my son and I started but other things became more important!! Starts runs and drives… Needs new body but everything that is embossed with WILLYS is in good shape.. Hood, front grill etc..all new brakes and some new lines a few years ago. Frame is SOLID! I have a parts jeep to go with it… No engine and frame is junk! but trans, front and rear axles, original rims. I have the hard top that may go with it depending on the AR and shape!!”

“1963 cj3b trail rig for sale. 225 Buick v6 3speed tranny, Dana 300 twin stick tcase. Full custom roll cage with seats mounted to cage. Lifted, will fit 35s. Dana 44 rear with a Detroit, amc20 front with a lockrite, 5.38 gears. Asking 2800 obo. Started and ran last time I tried it, but did have a slight wiring issue which made a wire going to the distributor a hot wire and jeep would not turn off when turning the key off. Can send more pics, and happy to answer any questions.”

“Super rare CJ3B, with brand new freshly rebuilt F-134 motor with less than 1000 miles on it. Smooth shifting T-90 3 speed manual Transmission was rebuilt along with new clutch and throw out bearing at the same time and I have receipts for all of it. Includes Warn overdrive so it’ll do 70 on the freeway all day… Upgraded to Power Brakes, with new shoes on all 4 corners. New Exhaust, Fresh paint with rhino lined interior. All new front end bushings with new bell crank, drag link, and Saginaw Steering Box so no willys wobble and steers very straight and nice.
