“This is a 55 willys restored. New factory engine with approx. 3000 miles on it, new bearings, bushings and seals throughout. new viper racing yellow with clear pearl overcoat. New viper racing seats still in original wrapping, epoxy coating on interior, stainless steel dash, rack and pinion power steering,, custom rims and tires, will be putting diamond plate fender flares and bikini top on next , have chrome hood kit coming, I would drive this unit anywhere, top speed is about 60, tires are at 60%. Custom stainless body dressing. Still tweaking on it but ready to go. Fill the tank and drive forever, has the new Hurricane motor, will consider trade on pickup or other later model jeep cj5 or 7. no junk.”

I am not parting this out. This sale is for the entire vehicle and it’s spare parts. Most of the parts are present. The only known missing parts for a complete vehicle are: driver and passenger seats/frames, windshield glass, and all rubber hoses, seals, seams etc. I have not done any work on this so I cannot say if the engine/transmission/axles are any good. I bought it in Phoenix. I heard it came from northern AZ.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.

This is an interesting 3B. It’s got a replacement tub. The side bar has an unusual swoop that must act as a step. Labeled a 1951, it might be a CJ-3A chassis?

“You are bidding on a 1951 Willy’s Jeep.  It was purchased approximately 3 years ago as the foundation of a custom off-road/rock crawler vehicle.  It has nearly new heavy lugged off road tires, custom built roll cage with side skids.  The cage and skids were professionally built.  The jeep body is in very good condition for being 64 years old.  It has a custom gas tank with custom seats (see photos).  The vehicle was scheduled for a complete ground up custom build.  A death in the family forces sale.  It was running and was drove to the spot where it is parked.  It has the Commando OHV engine.  No Battery … sold as is.  Front axle needs differential work.  Some other parts are included, top bows/doors/ and a variety of other small parts. ”

“Willys CJ3B. Complete but rough body; grille and hood in good shape. Original F-head engine turns partway over by hand. Transmission and transfer case shift fine. Ran when parked but has been sitting on the family farm for many years. No title – bill of sale only. $1500 OBO – will deliver within 30 miles for a small fee. Good parts vehicle for a rebuild. ”

(11/13/2013) “Two Willys Jeeps 1953 & 1954 CJ-3Bs. Take two and restore one. One ran and drove when parked. It has an F-head motor, T-90 trans, Dana 18 t-case. The other has an L-head motor, T-90 trans and Dana 18 t-case, never heard it run. Have a title for one. $1200.00 OBO”
