Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Boby/tub off full restoration. Complete brake system, electrical to 12 volts, drive train checked out, new tires. motor rebuilt. This vehicle is a truely solid piece of machinery and as original as I could keep it. It is the perfect hunting or up north jeep. ”

“1953 Willys CJ3B Jeep. Clean Title and VIN plate. Was going to be a yard vehicle. Replaced badly rusted rear body with Steel frame and wood deck. New brake master cylinder, clutch and pressure plate. In process of converting to 12volt, new alternator and battery. Started to replace wiring. Patching to rest of body started. I have the hardtop and doors also. Runs pretty good, number 3 cylinder is a little lower than the rest (@60psi). I just am running out of time to work on it and need the space.”

“Framed off 1953 Willy’s CJ3b. I brought it in from the original ranch it worked on till 1978 in western NM. I had it running well and drove it for a couple years till military service called my name. Its ready to start the rebuild and I have all the original equipment to include frame, tub, windshield, tow bar, F104 engine, PTO unit, and many more additional pieces. The hard top in pic is not for this unit but with some cutting and machine work could fit. I’m not going to rebuild so make an offer. I have the title in my name and will sell whole package with it and bill of sale. Available by appointment to look at.”
