Even though the transfer case needs rebuilding, it still may be a good price.

“I’m selling my 1953 Willys jeep. We just don’t go 4 wheeling any more. This jeep has a strong rebuilt 350 engine, over sized radiator, duel under seat fuel tanks, new wiring and fuse block, new gauges, rebuilt transmission, rebuilt front and rear end, storage seat with seat belts in the back, tow hitch, and Warren over drive. The transfer case needs rebuilt due to a baring issue should be an easy fix and maybe $100 in parts. I have a bikini top, radiator cover, and repair manual for it as well. The jeep has a heater, windshield wipers, windshield washer and pump. The heater core was boiled and repaired 2 years ago. I have clean title. Asking 2500 OBO. This jeep is a great rock crawler and does great in the hills.”

Sounds like this has the teraflex gear upgrade in the transfercase. Between that and the front and rear lockers, there’s been some updates to this drivetrain.

“1953 Willy’s cj3b with all original stuff just been beefed up in places such as motor it was rebuilt and bored .30 over along with 3-1 gears in tcase and has 4.27 gears in axles along with lockers front and rear. Has new 2inch over stock leaf springs for total of about 8inch lift. Has 36×12.50×15 swampers and custom built bumpers and roll bar along with stainless fuel cell. Cash only. Text me”

The dash has been replaced. Looks like there are dark brown spray paint areas over the lighter base paint.
