Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1953 Willys cj3b high Hood project 4.3l Chevy with Edelbrock intake, brand new HEI and brand new quick fuel carburetor, 150 psi compression in all cylinders and turns over freely on the starter. It will run it just needs the distributor hooked up in the carburetor put on. Adapted to 3-speed with Warn Overdrive. 5 32×11.50×15 super swamper radials in great shape, 4-in lift (still spring under axle), power front disc brake conversion, steering conversion, swinging pedals conversion with hydraulic clutch, flaming river steering column, PRP suspension seats, full cage, canvas safari top, new/uncut dash panel, dual poly gas tanks, there is a battery tray and some other miscellaneous parts. I also have rear paddles on Wheels and front sand tires with no wheels but I can throw in with the right deal. Just needs to be put back together and a few things finished up. There is no wiring. This will be a super solid neat old Jeep with just a little bit of work finishing it however you like”

“*Clear title*
I have a forklift to help load. 1960 Willys CJ3B that was last plated in 2011. Frame is solid. Body is rough as shown in pics.
T90 Transmission and D18 tcase shifters all move nicely. F134 engine. The fuel pump and starter works. Engine compression is 100-75-0-60. The valves seem to be moving, and I haven’t looked into it any further. Probably needs soaked and cleaned up after sitting for so long.”

“1953 Blue CJ3B currently has sbc under the hood. I believe it to a 327. I can’t confirm that because I’ve never run the numbers. I drove the cj onto my trailer when I originally bought it. I have a complete Hurricane ? for it. As you can see it is pretty much complete. I have clear Washington title in my name. In addition I have another nearly complete White Cj3b. It is what you see from the pictures. It comes with Bill of Sale only. I am willing to consider part or possibly straight across trade for Air-cooled VW Bug,Bus, Ghia project or parts. “1964 Willys CJ-3B. The last year of the flat fender.
It had a frame-off restoration in 2006, to include a brand new tub. Overall, it runs great, is cranked once weekly and is a great driver. It has NO rust anywhere, which is a very rare find.
It’s not perfect – for most of us Jeep (and Willys) enthusiast, it’s as nice as you or I have seen, but the paint is not show quality. If you’ve been around them, you know it drips some fluids.
It does have a heater and newer canvas, and the interior is in incredible shape (will post more pictures).
What does it need? It currently has a Solex carb with a flat spot (still very manageable to drive). I have the correct Carter carburetor, but it needs rebuilt, which is a $250 or do dollar investment to have done right. It also comes with the PTO winch but does need a shaft.
Come take a look – you’ll be impressed. It comes with a clean title and bill of sale.”
