Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Inherited from brother and all I’ve done is store it for six years and run it once in a while. Don’t really know a lot about the jeep other than the following. Dana 23’s in the front with 35’s in the rear. Engine is 1972 Chevy Vega 140 cu/in (2300cc) aluminum block with steel sleeves. “Tight pattern” Saginaw four speed and all cynchroes work. Custom built “Very stout” rollcage with (6) bolt down locations. Roll bar is tied-in the heater system and has small holes that defog the front window and sides. Padded bucket seats have five-way seat harness system. Padded rear seat w/back rest has seat belts. Has PTO Koenig winch. I personally have never gone four wheeling in the jeep but everything seems to work. Inside floor board has some very light rust. Also has toe-bar and bakini top.”

“I have a jeep that needs a home where someone will give it the attention it deserves. It has the original motor , 12volt, still has the foot switch starter, Warn overdrive. This is a fun jeep , you could fix it up or keep it as is. Great project. Hasent been registered in a couple years , you would be responsible for that. Sorry no pictures its kind of buried in my garage.

“1953 Jeep Willy’s with 4.0 L jeep engine. No Title.
I was building a 6×6 Jeep (if you want 4×4 you can unbolt the rear axle / frame section it is not welded)
The engine has the complete wiring harness, computer, etc. and will run (with a little work)it has had all of the pan gaskets and rear main seal replaced. I had the bell housing reworked by Novak Transmissions to adapt it to the stock T-90 transmission. It has most everything to get it going, but will probably need brake cylinders. ”

“NO PAYPAL !!!!!! I don’t have the title 1954 jeep Willy’s CJ3B it has original Willy’s Hurricane motor it does turn on but will need to be over hauled main bearing are out on crank shaft it has original T90 transmission and transfercase those will also need rebuilt. It has three kc light on top and vynil cover. Frame and suspension has been overhauled but not recently but in good shape.
It’s a project or parts jeep.

The 3B was used as the model for the ICON.
“When we decided to launch the ICON CJ3B, the first thing we did was search down a 100% original CJ3B. We did this so we could get to know it a bit, and to digitize the complete structure and establish a starting point for our CAD modeling work. We found this truck in central California, where it had been it’s whole life. This little CJ has exceptional integrity. It has been sitting for a few years, but it fired right up and runs and drives. Please do not expect to jump in it and go on an expedition. It stops, starts and runs, but you should plan for some tinkering. Rare PTO winch. Original paint. No rust on the body. Zero modifications other than the cheesy wiper switch and rear tire carrier, which could be removed with ease. Original California black & yellow plates. You will be hard pressed to find a more original CJ3B. You may find a shiny one, but you can never beat an original because what you see is what you get. ICON/TLC is a licensed California dealer. Buyer will need to pay $100 document fee above the winning bid. Out of State buyers must use professional transporter and provide bill of lading to be exempt from Ca sales tax and fees. In State buyers must pay DMV fees and sales tax. This truck is stored at our facility in Chatsworth Ca. You are welcomed to come visit it.
