Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I don’t have the title 1954 jeep Willy’s CJ3B it has original Willy’s Hurricane motor it does turn on but will need to be over hauled main bearing are out on crank shaft it has original T90 transmission and transfercase those will also need rebuilt. It has three kc light on top and vynil cover. Frame and suspension has been overhauled but not recently but in good shape.
It’s a project or parts jeep.

The 3B was used as the model for the ICON.
“When we decided to launch the ICON CJ3B, the first thing we did was search down a 100% original CJ3B. We did this so we could get to know it a bit, and to digitize the complete structure and establish a starting point for our CAD modeling work. We found this truck in central California, where it had been it’s whole life. This little CJ has exceptional integrity. It has been sitting for a few years, but it fired right up and runs and drives. Please do not expect to jump in it and go on an expedition. It stops, starts and runs, but you should plan for some tinkering. Rare PTO winch. Original paint. No rust on the body. Zero modifications other than the cheesy wiper switch and rear tire carrier, which could be removed with ease. Original California black & yellow plates. You will be hard pressed to find a more original CJ3B. You may find a shiny one, but you can never beat an original because what you see is what you get. ICON/TLC is a licensed California dealer. Buyer will need to pay $100 document fee above the winning bid. Out of State buyers must use professional transporter and provide bill of lading to be exempt from Ca sales tax and fees. In State buyers must pay DMV fees and sales tax. This truck is stored at our facility in Chatsworth Ca. You are welcomed to come visit it. Original body no rust this is a California Jeep. Brand new tires, soft top and doors come with it. 8000 LB Warn winch with remote cable. I will accept a lessor amount if you do not want the winch. This looks like a good project to me, thought it isn’t clear to me why the grille is moved so far forward.

Willy’s Trailer, made from the back half of a 1948 Willy’s Jeep. Has front cabinet with lid for storage, the original storage under the passenger seat in good shape, has 2″ ball hitch in front and 2″ ball for towing in rear. Has original 7.50″ x 16″ wheels with truck M&S tires. Set up for 6 pin wiring.
Want to sell as a set just in time for Hunting Season. Could also be a GREAT restoration project, just turning 50 years old “VINTAGE”. Asking $4500 for both – $4000 for Willy’s and $500 for trailer. (06/28/2012) This is a CJ-3B that the seller is advertising as a M606 clone. It looks fairly solid, though the steps have been patched. Note the the radios are not functional at this time.
“1960 “High Hood” CJ3B/M606 clone. Painted in Vietnam era semi-gloss olive drab. New tires, new vinyl top, new tailgate. Ramsey (PTO) winch works and has new cable. Siren, Blackout Light, 2 Piece Antenna, Demilled 3 1/2″ Bazooka, Inert Bazooka Round, Spare 134 Hurricane Engine and Misc. Spare Parts. Odometer Reads 350 miles, the guy I bought it from said he replaced the speedometer when he had the engine and transmission rebuilt. The radios are not hooked up. Turn the key and go! Turns heads anywhere I go. I work so I try to check my email every evening. Thanks for looking.”
