This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It also appears to have a special plaque, which I assume is related to it’s former life as a fire department jeep.
“My 1955 Willys Jeep 4X4… Former Chicago Fire Dept Vehicle, always stored inside, original condition, motor rebuilt, new carb., and lots of other new parts… New tires, top a few years old, interior very nice, I have a new battery as the old one is weak… I am selling my little blue baby because I was in a Traffic Accident & broke my Back, my Pelvis, suffered Severe Head Trauma & Whiplash caused by hitting a car that made a left hand turn in front of us, we were traveling at 40 MPH, I was a passenger & my Airbag DID-NOT Deploy… The Jeep has been stored in my garage for 2 years & I can no longer drive it due to the accident… I DO-NOT have to give it away, I don’t need the money & have a 21 year old Son that would love to have it… Come take a look, it is being sold as-is, as-shown, ask questions, NO_RESERVE – the HIGH BIDDER wins!!! What are those things on the back bumper?
“1954 willys jeep CJ3B high top
this has a small block Chevy V8 fitted and matched up to I believe the original Transmission,
it also has one of the most substantial hard top I have seen, its a solid jeep and looks grate,it also as you can see has tow frame I haven’t heard it run but was told it drove to where I picked it up from, I have no reason to believe it has any major problems it doesn’t have any brakes at the moment probably down to being stood $3,750 call

This is a project.

(04/08/2011) It’s all original, except for the left front tire . . . And, the electrical system, the front bumper, the grille parking lights, the passenger seat, and on and on . . .

Original Everything minus the front left tire.
Missing title, information plate, & electrical system.
Engine frame and most of body is solid.
Not much to it. Very bare bones.
Will need work but its an incredibly simple system and parts are available online.
The guy I bought it from hot-wired it and with a rigged up gas tank had it idling.
