Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “great running Willys Jeep. I drive it nearly every day…everything mechanically is sound. This jeep does have a Navy Tag, and I believe that might make it slightly more limited, and more valuable. There is a separate wind shield that comes with the jeep and also have extra newer modern tires and rims. Also have front end tow attachment. The body is in OK shape, there is some paint flaking in spots. Its a fun vehicle and head turner, ready for year round driving”

“1953 willys jeep cj3b. V-6 buick 225 cubic inch motor. full syncro 4 speed trans with hi-lo overdrive. This jeep has been completely upgraded. engine has been resealed and detailed with full lengh headers with exaust out the rear. it has rancho suspension and a lift and 33 x 1250 tires, full hydraulic clutch and brake resivore. it has been completelly re-wired with full guages and tack. complete full roll cage. full racing seats with 4 point harness. it has a lockable gun locker and storage area in the back. it has a winch and off road lights. custom off road bumbers front and back. it has a swing away; spare tire rack with 2 gas can holders. this jeep is for a real off road enthusiast. this thing runs great and is ready to go. it comes with a nice black top with new windows just installed.”

“9,500 orig miles, 170 miles since restoration. Over $9,000 in parts. Body was taken down to bare metal, epoxy primer with base coat clear coat; plus coated with Fiber Tech inside Chip Guard new everthing- wiring, brakes,wheel seals,fluidss, lights,new gauges. All new fine thread bolts,12 volt alt. New Tires and wheels. Custom made bumpers. New seats with seat belts, new best top. New fuel tank. All receipts and pictures of project. Frame coated with Por 15.”

“For sale is a 1954ish Willys CJ3B with a rebuilt f-head motor that ran when parked 3 years ago. the body tub is rotted but repairable. the windshield frame,tailgate and hood plus the grill sre in great shape. The fenders are shot rotted at the channels. The jeep still has all the factory soft top bows and support rods. the jeep is mostly complete and missing very little. no back seat. Asking $1500 or best offer. e-mail back with any questions”

(02/17/2011) This appears to be a painted version of this rig, which was for sale back in 2009.
“This is a one of kind custom CJ-3B 4X4 Buggy with Florida state registration and title. You could have a lot of fun cruising up and down the coast safely with your sweetheart.
The body is all new metal welded to the front end of a CJ-3B then covered with epoxy bed liner for maximum rust and corrosion protection.
Full roll cage and side steps covered with black bed liner.
The frame was sandblasted then covered with black epoxy bed liner.
The front windshield has been powder coated with new rubber seal and safety glass.
Custom made leaf springs with Rancho Shocks,
Chevrolet half ton front end and rear axle with custom heavy duty drive line.
(4-11 gears). Rear axle has been updated with anti slip differential locker
