hmmm .. a ‘1947’ CJ-3B with a ford engine for $14,000. . . .

“1947 WILLYS JEEP All original metal cab, 3 speed transmission, NEW Engine- Totally Rebuilt 4 Cylinder Overhead Ford, This rebuild cost me $4,000. New Drive line, New Radial Tires. The body is straight!! No Dents Or Dings….. This jeep also has a tow bar so you are able to take it anywhere. There is not anything wrong with this jeep, it runs great and can get you just about anywhere. I am only selling it because i do not have any use for it.”

(09/29/2010) The price looks right and the engine looks good.

“I have a 1953 Willys CJ3B Jeep, it is in Good/Fair condition. I bought it in 2009 and drove it for a year than parked it in storage to work on it. The rest is history. I changed the oil, greased all joints, and changed the fluid in both diffs. It needs a full restoration if you wanna go that route.

134 c.i. OHV 4 cylinder, 3 spd. manual with twin stick transfer case
Dana 20 front axle, Dana 44 rear axle
This vehicle does not run but the engine is not seized up, I removed the rear drive shaft so it can be moved. It needs more than I can give it and I hate to let it go, but I’d rather see someone else driving it on the road, than have it sitting in front of my house.”

“great running Willys Jeep. I drive it nearly every day…everything mechanically is sound. This jeep does have a Navy Tag, and I believe that might make it slightly more limited, and more valuable. There is a separate wind shield that comes with the jeep and also have extra newer modern tires and rims. Also have front end tow attachment. The body is in OK shape, there is some paint flaking in spots. Its a fun vehicle and head turner, ready for year round driving”

“1953 willys jeep cj3b. V-6 buick 225 cubic inch motor. full syncro 4 speed trans with hi-lo overdrive. This jeep has been completely upgraded. engine has been resealed and detailed with full lengh headers with exaust out the rear. it has rancho suspension and a lift and 33 x 1250 tires, full hydraulic clutch and brake resivore. it has been completelly re-wired with full guages and tack. complete full roll cage. full racing seats with 4 point harness. it has a lockable gun locker and storage area in the back. it has a winch and off road lights. custom off road bumbers front and back. it has a swing away; spare tire rack with 2 gas can holders. this jeep is for a real off road enthusiast. this thing runs great and is ready to go. it comes with a nice black top with new windows just installed.”

(05/15/2011) “UP FOR SALE ONE 1953 WILLYS JEEP CJ-3B IN GOOD CONDITION. THE BODY IS IN GOOD SHAPE, HAS SOME BONDO IN SOME SPOTS. OVERALL THE TUB IS IN GREAT SHAPE. RUNS AND DRIVES EXCELLENT. INSTALLED NEW CLUTCH LAST YEAR. ALSO HAS SEAT MOUNTED IN REAR THAT FOLDS DOWN. HAS 31 X 9.50 -15 SUPER SWAMPERS. THIS JEEP WILL GO ANYWHERE. THIS JEEP IS NOT STREET LEGAL.
