Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. No pics provided. This has a CJ-3B Fiberglass tub? Those are pretty rare.

The seller says the floor pans are solid.
“I have a 53 willyz jeep I rescued. I don’t have time for it. I have a son on the way and four other projects. It had a 134 c.u. 4 cylinder. Not running. But turns over. The started is locked up. Need a new one. It’s been converted to 12,volt. I have both doors. All the glass is in it. Has high low 4 speed mamanual transmission. Floor pans are solid. I’m asking 1000. Obo no title. It is a tn registered truck. Feel free to call or text.”

“1962 Willys Jeep Universal CJ3B, was running when parked 2 years ago. Engine is free, starter disengages before it can crank. Gas tank rusted, was running on auxillary tank. Front half solid and fairly rust free, back half really rusty and floorboards rusted out. Gears shift into position. The frame has an angle iron reinforcement welded to the frame bottom under the driver’s area. The windshield frame, hood, front cowling, fenders and grill are in nice condition for a Jeep this age. The bad rust out is in the rear tub and under the seat areas. The seat pictured DOES NOT COME WITH IT, NO SEATS. USED AS IS. No title, bill of sale only. Located 10 miles south of Oxford Mississippi, aprox. 1.5 hours south of Memphis TN”
This might be a good price despite the smoking engine.

“1963 CJ3B HIGH HOOD FOR SALE! PROJECT JEEP- NEEDS SOME PAINT AND SOME BODY WORK. NEW 11 INCH BRAKES AND RECONDITIONED RADIATOR. SOFT TOP, BUCKET SEATS, 4 INCH LIFT. CURRENTLY APART (SEE 2ND PIC), BUT HAVE EVERYTHING TO PUT BACK TOGETHER.”

The body looks like a replacement, so it probably in good shape.
“This is a super clean, very unique, low mile ’53 CJ3B, ’92 4.3L GMC, fuel injected, rear locker Dana 40, T18 transfer, 4″ lift, Rubicon rack with 2 Jerry cans, high lift jack, bikini top, rear seat, tow-wired with new towbar. New fuel system. Work done by Folbeck 4WD. Recent systems check with redone brake lines. BFG 32s 70% with matching spare under rear rack. New Optima battery. Starts and runs strong. Selling for larger 4×4 to fit the family.”
