Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Tow bar, rebuilt trany, starter, good rubber, engine starts very reliably. Heavy duty trailer, high clearance, 4 X 9 ft bed. This trailer will go anywhere your jeep can pull it.”

The body has been patched, but it runs. It needs brake work.
“Here is a 1954 CJ3B in running condition . All original with 134 F-Head. Full aluminum cab and doors, complete snow plow assembly included. Jeep starts and drives,and has good oil pressure but will need brake work to make it road worthy. Frame is very solid with very minor surface rust, even the rear crossmember is solid. Grill, hood, windshield frame, fenders, and tailgate are all solid and in good shape. Body tub has been patched with metal and some bondo, here and there. Clear title and current registration. “Good. Running almost new. Chevy 350 small block with msd ignitions. Three inch rancho lift. 4-core aluminum radiator. Electric fan. 33in Mickey Thompson tires. Full roll cage. CB and radio/cd player. It has come time for me to sell this Jeep due to a need for a newer/practical family car, with hopes that a new owner will fully enjoy this awesome vehicle. A 1940s DJ?
“One 1946 Willys CJ2A runs and drives great ready to go with an 8,000 lb. Ramsey winch and new tires. This is a rare Jeep with column shift and all numbers matching, all tags in place. Four wheel drive, low and high range all work. Everything on the Jeep works but the speedometer.
One 1948 CJ2A tub, chassis, motor and all drive train except axles which I have and go with jeep so this is a complete Jeep.
One 1940’s CJ2A tub, chassis, and all drive line except motor which I have and goes with Jeep so this is a complete Jeep.
One 1955 CJ3B complete Jeep.
One 1940’s CJ2A tub, chassis and drive train everything for another complete Jeep except motor.
One 1940’s DJ2A tub in great shape, this is a rare tub for a DJ because its left hand steer. Several extra frames, grills, fenders, tires and wheels, engine parts, manuals, etc. more parts than the pictures show. Everything goes as a package deal, I will not sell separate.
If you are a Jeep person or want a great project vehicle this is a great deal. All could be sold separate or parted out for more money on ebay or something but I don’t want the hassle. I am getting out of the Jeep business. I built the first one over 15 years ago and it was rougher than the rest in this package. UPDATE: The seller has deleted this so I’m assuming it sold. Was listed at $2k.
It has sat for a couple years. Unclear why.
“I have a 1953 Willys Jeep for sale. This is a CJ-3B, all original motor and transmission. The jeep was used for years as a US Army jeep for re enacting. it has a military paint job and also has a gun mount attached to the bed of the jeep. The jeep has been sitting for about 1-1/2 years and is in need of restoration. All body parts are present and there is some rust that would have to be dealt with. The jeep has very low original miles on it and also has new tires all the way around. The Jeep has new brakes and the brake system on the jeep was rebuilt before the jeep was parked 1-1/2 years ago. I have about $500.00 in the new tires and $200 into the rebuild of the brake system. I am wanting $2000.00 or best offer for the jeep. This would be a great restoration project for someone who has the ttime, if you are looking for a original Willys CJ3B with all of the original parts here is one that can be restored. Please look at the photo’s below showing the condition of the Jeep. I have more photo’s if you want to see them just email me on craigslist and I will email them to you..”
