(11/09/09) “The original high hood Willys Overland “Jeep” universal in excellent original condition. This is not one of those old jeeps that has been ruined by installing a v-8. these were not made to go fast, they were made to go anywhere! Original F-134 4 cyl. engine with oil bath air cleaner. Rebuilt running gear inc. complete engine/transfer case rebuild, new clutch & brakes, upgraded to 12 v alternator. New fuel pump, regulator, solenoid and re-built original starter. Extras include Warn PTO winch, roll bar, soft top & rear bench seat. Clean in and out, no rust, never wrecked. Must see to appreciate. I’ve owned it for over 30 years and got it from my Grandfather so I can tell you it’s entire history.”

1954 CJ-3B Chanute, Ks $1000
The body is supposed to be in good shape.
“1954 Willy,s CJ3B. Original, complete, does not run. No top. Spun a rod bearing about 10 years ago and has set since. Head is pulled, but all parts there for the original 4 cylinder engine. Brakes shot, needs brake and wheel cylinders. Transmission worked when it was running, but will not shift now as there was no trans boot. No PTO or winch. Now the good. The body is in decent shape for the age has some typical rust and older repairs It has 5:38 gears from the factory. Comes with a front tow bar, but probably should be trailed home. 3 tires hold air, the 4th will long enough to get it loaded. I will provide a bill of sale and the original title that I never submitted to the state to get transferred. I will include a original repair manual. I have to many projects and will never get to this one. A good project jeep for less than the price of a replacement tub. $1000.00 cash firm. Located in Chanute, Ks. Call 620-212-3205”

This is a project, but there is some value. It has a PTO. Has a Kelly hardtop.
“I dont know much about willys jeeps , the man I got it from said everything works like it should . It started smoking and he took the head off the engine and lost interest in fixing it . It has been about 2 months since it has been cranked and when he tore the engine down . The jeep is very clean for its age and has a hard top with doors . All the glass is good and unbroken except for the windshield , which has a large crack down the center of it. The tires look to be very new and excellent shape with very deep lugs on the thread. It has a tow bar on the front end and a bumper with place to put a trailer ball on the rear . Would make a excellent hunting jeep or a great restoration peice . I am unsure of the exact year model , I was told it is a cilivian jeep not a military jeep. Has high and low range transfer-case and four wheel drive . Does have some rust , mainly the drivers floor board next to the door . It is painted camo all over with leave print on it . Jeep is for sale as-is , where-is , and I am not promising anything . I have described it to the best of my knowledge . It has warn lock-in lock-out hubs . The exhaust system looks to be recently replaced . The doors , back hatch and tail-gate open and shut as they should . Has seats that flip up in the middle to access the back . No rear seat . All parts to the engine are inside the Jeep , including the carburator .”

“I owned this Willys for 38 years and have kept it up but have not ran it for sometime. I put it in storage.but now am ready to sell. The color of the New Omix-ADA Body Kit was painted Ford Fire Red Pearl Metalic Base Coat ,Clear Coat ,Put together with lots of Stainless Steel bolts as well as Stainless Steel Front and Rear Bumpers,New Chrome Wheels with New 31x 10.50 Tires,There is a Reverse shackle Kit on Front along with Power Steering,It has Classic license plates, It is powered with a 225 Dauntless V6 Engine that runs well,It has the 2 lever transfer case that I had the machine shop build to bolt on to the T14 transmission.There is no front drive shaft. I never needed one because I ran it in the summer on dry days only, Never saw any dirt or mud roads.The Horn dosen”t work and the transmission pops out of reverse. I have a used replacement T14 Transmission for it just never had it checked and put in. The milage on the spedometer reads 85558 but this is an orignal replacement I bought off ebay.Even though this Willys is in great shape for the year. It is Sold as is. It also appears to have a special plaque, which I assume is related to it’s former life as a fire department jeep.
“My 1955 Willys Jeep 4X4… Former Chicago Fire Dept Vehicle, always stored inside, original condition, motor rebuilt, new carb., and lots of other new parts… New tires, top a few years old, interior very nice, I have a new battery as the old one is weak… I am selling my little blue baby because I was in a Traffic Accident & broke my Back, my Pelvis, suffered Severe Head Trauma & Whiplash caused by hitting a car that made a left hand turn in front of us, we were traveling at 40 MPH, I was a passenger & my Airbag DID-NOT Deploy… The Jeep has been stored in my garage for 2 years & I can no longer drive it due to the accident… I DO-NOT have to give it away, I don’t need the money & have a 21 year old Son that would love to have it… Come take a look, it is being sold as-is, as-shown, ask questions, NO_RESERVE – the HIGH BIDDER wins!!! I will consider all reasonable offers, LOW BALL offers will be ignored…… The Jeep has always been well maintained & kept inside, it has normal wear for a 56 yr. old vehicle, and very little rust, good original condition, easy restoration, or drive/use as-is, please come take a look… The battery in the Jeep is very weak, I do have a Brand New Battery, but, I can-not put it in the jeep due to the injuries I received in the accident, so it isn’t running to test drive at this time, you are welcome to call & set a time/day to take a look.”
