Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (06/15/2010) This looks like a nicely updated, though the brakes need some work.
“JEEP HAS A 350 CHEVY ENGINE, MUNCIE 4 SPEED, TILT STEERING WHEEL AND A EXTRA GAS TANK. THE MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION HAVE NO ISSUES. IT WAS DRIVEN DAILY UNTIL THE BRAKES QUIT WORKING PROPERLY. I’M NOT SURE BUT IT MAY NEED A MASTER CYLINDER OR MAYBE JUST AJUSTING.”

This looks in good condition.
“Orignal Jeep that runs well with newly rebuilt original Hurricane 4 cylinder engine. New front end parts and new wiring harness; tires and top in good condition; with extra wheels/tires and parts; good title. Will try to get more up-to-date pics later. Needs good home that keeps it original.”

(11/02/2009) Here’s a great looking early, stock CJ-3B.
“All most stock jeep. Rebuilt engine ORG, with 1500 mls on it.Body stock with NO rust. After market elect,wipers, 1953 jeep PU 11 inch, brakes 90%, 12 volt sys, . ORG engine, T 90 trans, spicer 18 TC, Dana 25 front, Dana 44 rear, ORG,front, rear bumpers, and hitch.
The engine is 134 f head, new tires ,200 mls on them, no top, Good looking, good running good all around little jeep, 5.38 dif gearing, ser, #453GB2 12339 willys-overland.”

Top has been sold. Windshield seems odd.
“Jeep is rough but running gear good, was running when put in the shed. Good tires and wheels. Several extra parts including transfer case, steering box, complete brake set, and and many small parts. Steel top in photos has been sold.”
The seller has a fiberglass body. This could be a rare glass CJ-3B body. No pics provided.
