This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Gerald pointed out that this appears to be a Right Hand Drive CJ-3b. I agree it looks that way. On closer inspection, as Felix noted, the Willys was backwards. Some of these pics are flipped and some aren’t, though who knows why ..
This jeep has been sitting for 20 years, but it looks more like it has been sinking for 20 years.

“For sale are a 1954 Willys CJ-3B with factory hard top. This is a rolling chassis only. I don’t have the drivetrain. The axles are complete from drum to drum and are in good condition. The front axle has the factory lockouts that are functional. There is an additional 1956 CJ-B tub, fenders, hood and grill that go along with this that is in great shape. this jeep is body parts only. I also have an extra pair of original hard doors that go with this. These jeeps would be great for going back original or making a fun toy.”

There’s a variety of updates to the drivetrain.

It has brand new 33″ TSL Swampers on black rims, windshield wipers, Mojave heater, Bestop soft top, new in box Superwinch 8000# winch w/mounting plate, starter and battery.Buick V6 w/fenderwell headers, TH350 Auto, Dana 18 T-Case w/OD, It has 11″ brakes, rear dana 44 with loc-rite, front 27 with powerloc, power steering, soft ride leaf springs, tow bar and tilt wheel. Also have extra set of 31″ radial tires on rims. Everything works great, tabs are good but just don’t drive. Will sell for $4500 minus the Swampers and winch w/plate. make me an offer befor the snow comes.”

No offense to the seller, but the seller writes that the low retail value of these are $4100 and the high is $19,000. I suggest the seller visit eWillys for a dose of reality.

“1956 Willy’s CJ3B it has a 231 Buick V 6 Motor with a 3 Speed manual transmission Body is in very Nice shape It has 31 X 11.50 X 15 LT Goodyear Wrangler Tires are like Brand New Mounted on Eagle Alloy wheels Seats are by ARP and have Racing type Seat Belts in it Has all New Gauges Has New CD player in dash Wiring has been redone at some point. You could not build this Jeep for what Reserved price is . This Willy’s turns heads every time its driven . New Speedometer but need to check cable and drive gear. See if working or not.
