Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This looks like a very good deal considering the quality of trailer.
“1959 Model CJ-3B running hunting jeep with custom trailer and winch; new jeep tires and spare; heavy roll bar with horizontal gun racks; body is in good condition and jeep runs; custom trailer is tandem axle with ramps, spare battery pocket and lights; original hurricane engine with electric fuel pump added”

This CJ-3B includes an overdrive. This might be a pretty good price given the work that has been done.

Rebuilt engine, transmission and transfer case along with new clutch and resurfaced flywheel ~1000 miles. Rebuilt Overdrive unit, less than 100 miles. The engine was sleeved back to standard and compression measures at high specification (125psi). It has an electronic ignition and a high torque starter. Three point harness on front seats and a rear seat (not mounted) to go with it. Full roll cage. Upgraded brakes, 11″ drums front and rear as well as dual reservoir master cylinder. Runs great and has a 12v electrical system.”

It’s got what appears to be a CJ-3A or 2A grille that has been modified into a CJ-3B grille.
It’s a running CJ-3B for only $1200. It’s worth a look.

It appears this frankenstinien CJ-3B ran into an old style apartment radiator.
“I have a willys jeep for sale, I am guessing it’s about a ’52, it comes with a hard-top, it has been converted to a Ford 6 cylinder with 12 volt and HEI ignition”

“All original with F head motor and spare. Ran a few years ago. Engine smoked but ran good. Comes with top and doors. Jeep is very complete and clean, with little surface rust.”

This looks like a nice CJ-3B, but the pics aren’t too close up.
“1953 CJ3B High Hood in great shape. Has 302 Ford engine that runs good. Check out the photos and that pretty well shows the condition this rig is in. 3Bs in good condition are getting tough to find.”

Ed sent me the link to his ebay listing and I’m glad he did. “Woodchuck” is a rare beauty!
“Purchased by Dorothy Owens for her summer camp in Wardsboro, Vermont on June 26, 1963 from Willys Jeep dealer E.J. Roberts & Son, Inc. of Jacksonville, Vermont (see sale receipt image below), this historic 1963 CJ3B is as close to true showroom original stock condition as likely almost any vintage Jeep existing. “Woodchuck”, as the 3B is now affectionately known, has been extensively documented, photographed and published (more on that below). Woodchuck, with only 9400 miles (continuously garaged since new and never driven in winter), is in its original Treebark Brown Poly paint (paint code 231) and original green upholstery (trim code 208) on the seats and tailgate chains.”
It’s got a fullcage and newly built engine. It looks like it might be a good price depending on the work that is needed.

If it needs a couple body panels (due to rust), then I’m not sure I’d describe this as being in great shape, however it looks straight and appears in stock condition.
“1960 Willys Jeep C J 3-B, four cylinder engine. Runs and drives great, 4 X 4. GREAT SHAPE! New gas tank, new tires. The jeep has the original 1/2 hard top on it. It needs a rust panel or two, but still is in good shape. The frame is great, brakes are good, lights work, drives great. Call (859) 893-4346 anytime except on Wed. 7:00pm – 9:00pm.; Sun. 10:00am – 12:00pm”
