About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This has an overdrive and a rear bed extender, though it’s shorter than most.
“1954 WILLY

It’s a buy-it-now sale on eBay. The body and hood look new. I’m not sure why it has the “49 Jeep” license plate? I’m wondering if this is actually a CJ-3B body and F-head on a 1949 CJ-3A chassis?
“1954 Jeep Willy. Radiator clean and tested. New radiator hoses. New spark plugs, new points, new plug wires, new wiring harness, added turn signals. New steering wheel, new brake lines, new brakes shoes, new wheel cylinders. Complete exhaust system, new fuel line, new clutch, seats redone, new windshield, new tires five, new water pump, new oil pump, painted 4 years ago. Lock out hubs on the front. Mileage not verfied.”
“53 Willy’s Jeep, and 46 Willy’s Jeep for sale. 53 is still running be it not great. Selling as a pair. Would make a great restoration project,or the 53 has a plow for an extra 300.”
(08/31/2019) Has some extra vents in the floor. This might have some free-lock hubs, but I can’t tell for sure.
“1953 Willys Jeep CJ-3B $3000 obo This Jeep is in pretty good shape and mostly original for its age. The Good: Mostly original, except for the Solex carb and screw on oil filter; these are both improvements unless you’re after a nut and bolt restoration, and it would be easy to go back to stock if you want. Steel hardtop. Starts easily and runs and drives well. Body is in good condition for the age. The Bad: Brakes are adequate but not excellent. Some rust, the worst of it is in the passenger floorboard. Wiring is sketchy at best. The Ugly: It’s a CJ-3B. Some people love them, most think they’re hideous. I like it, but I guess I’m in the minority. In any case, I have too many projects and I don’t think I’ll ever get to this one”
“Restoration Project, New Body, New Front Fenders, New Windshield Frame & Glass, motor needs to be installed..body is temp bolted together. Frame is solid..great project. Have to many and no time.”
“1954 CJ-3B Willy’s Jeep. This is the rare high hood model. Clear title in my name with original willys vin and plate on firewall. Starts and runs well, shifts and moves but need breaks. Comes with rare full metal hardtop with doors. Has rust and needs bodywork but has a great patina look. $3500 best offer.”
“Custom 64 Willy’s Jeep with a 350 V-8, Dart heads, Edelbrock Victor manifold and a just rebuilt Holly 750. It was originally professional built and a true head turner and performer! Upgraded transfer case, Fiberglass body, Front tilt hood, and RARE ORIGINAL SAFARI WINDSHIELD. Take it to the dirt or sand a true performer. This is a true off road vehicle. True miles unknown, stated mileage is an estimate, odometer was non-op when I bought it. The transmission is a 4 speed with a low 1st gear. Local mechanic believes it is a GM SM420 with a Dana Model 18 Transfer Case. Title in hand and tags are current.”
“1962 Willys Jeep with a 283 Chevy engine 8 cylinders and 3 speed manual transmission. Roll Bar and 4 wheel drive. White exterior paint is in good condition as well as the interior vinyl. Car runs and drives well. Please call if you have any questions”
