About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
CJ-5 couple new bits on this one. Take a weekend or two clean this one up and see where you are at.
Information from seller:
1964 Jeep CJ5 – My loss, your gain. Motor runs. Restoration project suspended after rebuilt carb, new fuel pump, new starter solenoid, new Optima Yellow Top battery, new roll bar, and a box full of lights and additional parts.
Listed 13 Weeks Ago, it has a higher price then is in my budget. I do like the Hard Top set up and the plow, it’s a neat rig, but price is up there. Listing more for the photos which are pretty dark, but still would look cool and keep you warm while plowing.
Information from seller:
Original everything, sledding doors all functional, full plow fully functional, hard top in mint condition, no rust its a cj5
Couple things going on with this one, dash is a little like an M38-A1 of sorts, but the tub almost looked fiberglass at first to me, but it looks to have the Jeep imprint on the side.
I think it is a CJ-5 Base as posted and was assembled with a few different things that is fine.
Looks like they have some work in this one. Sideways photos are never fun to see what’s going on.
Information from seller:
Up for sale is another Sweet 1955 Jeep CJ five. Has a four-cylinder engine, three speed transmission and four-wheel-drive. Budget build frame off restoration. All the running gear has been completely gone through. Many NOS parts, no top or doors. Runs and drives great. Come for a test drive today. 7500 or best offer. Clean title in my name. On no op. Located in Lewiston, California. delivery available upon purchase.
So I got nothing on this one, it’;s really rough, maybe you need some parts for a project but with the overall condition I would worry about most anything off this one that is drivetrain so talking like brackets and the smalls.
The real reason this stood out was the Data Plate, a little while back there was a CJ-6 where the Model Number was smaller then the Serial Number, and here is another similar age almost identical model number smaller then serial number and the screws are legit Willys data plate screws IMO.
The Data Plate is tad Wavy so I think its been off the rig one time, probably to paint it red, who knows.
So just adding to that story for folks. My initial guess is that they pre-stamped these model numbers in a different area then the final Serial Numbers and the Stamps were different, who knows, that’s my version of the story.
Would like a Milwaukee Battery Drill be a good trade for this? Too much? I’m kind of at grab something off a Holiday Sale rack and try it out as a trade if you need some small bits off this one. But like have a bit driver set with the deal so it’s turn key here is a working drill/impact and some new bits and drivers load up and head home.
I have a ’48 Parts Truck that would work for that thing all day if the person needed the thing.
I think even the smaller Snow Blowers is too much trade anymore they are darn pricey.
Information from seller:
It’s beat up but it’s a willeys. Classic car. What’s it worth to you? Let me know. Will do trades
CJ-5 Looks Solid. Has OD and sounds like a driver, not a bad price point.
Information from seller:

Rare vintage collector’s 1964 Willys Jeep. Runs good. The engine and body are good. Always been stored inside. 6 cylinder, 4WD works good. Great for a deer shack or plowing snow. Considered the first production SUV. Collector plates. Located in Cushing MN. Serious inquiries only. I’m posting this for my Dad and will be forwarding all messages to him. Please include a name and phone number. Thank you
Being offered is a highly optioned 1957 Jeep CJ5 SUV with 18,878 original miles. This piece of equipment is fitted with a Ramsey 246R PTO driven front winch a Koenig model 50 202 PTO gear box and rear facing PTO and Warn overdrive. There is also an adapter to allow all of that to work in harmony with the Transfer case. The Jeep is also fitted with Saginaw power steering and power brakes. The F134 inline 4 cylinder is locked up from sitting for the last 2 years but, shouldn’t take much to get it freed up. I also have a “free” not stuck f134 T90 3 speed and d18 transfer case if you would like to negotiate on that as part of the sale. The CJ5 was used at a business in NW Minnesota it’s entire life to run a piece of equipment off the rear PTO thus the low miles on the Jeep. The body is in very good condition considering the year showing some rust on the outer drivers floor board. I have the fuel tank for it as well as a pair of doors, not installed yet. This would make a super neat project
