“This does not come around often…say once every 40 years.

This 1974 is completely factory original. The paint is original as Toledo applied it, graphics, seats, windshield, body, engine….everything. I spent months cleaning and polishing and detailing every part of this jeep to get back to showroom condition.

I purchased this vehicle from the original owner in Missouri. She was a widow of 33 years. This jeep was her husbands and the couple owned a summer cottage on a lake just outside KC. He purchased it new in Kansas City in 1974 and took it directly to their summer home. There he put 22, 250 miles on the jeep until 1981 when after he had put the vehicle in the garage or the evening he had a stroke and shortly died. The jeep was left in the garage for 33 years by his widow so as to preserve his memory along with all his other trappings.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.

“I bought this beauty 18 months ago with great aspirations of having a “fun garage project” for the same model and year of vehicle I learned to drive in way-back-when. Great intentions! Unfortunately, I have had practically ZERO time to work on it and my wife wants her garage back. Long-story-short….the first 1k gets it and I will have peace in the my home. By the end of this coming weekend, Sunday, 2/17, if it’s not gone, it gets donated to Kars-4-Kids.

What you get….1959 Willys CJ5 with a 225 Dauntless 6 cylinder, 3 speed, 4wd. I bought new drum brakes, brake cylinders, and master cylinder and those all go with it (I have receipts….$700). I drove it for about 10 miles right after I bought it and I realized the brakes were about to go…..and they did. I just never did the work on installation. Also, a new steering wheel….nothing wrong with the existing one other than it has some wear…for you to swap out. Also included is a Willys parts catalog. Engine runs fine. Tires are all fine. Just has NO brakes.

If this is for you, you need to trailer it home….remember it has NO brakes. I have clear title. Clock is ticking.”

“I have a 1959 CJ5 that is in good shape, titled and plated PA Antique, runs good, has a good frame, some bondo on the tub but new front fenders, new dash new wiring, new exhaust, has the period correct rear hitch and I have a box of parts that I was going to use to restore it. Priorities have changed and I would like to sell it. It is all there and would be nice to go to someone that can appreciate and restore it. More pictures available.”

“This 1971 Jeep CJ5 was sold new at Complete Motors in Fort Collins, Colorado, and later moved to Kansas and Texas before being acquired by the selling dealer six years ago. The truck was reportedly refinished in red in 2003 and is powered by a 225ci V6 mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. Modifications include a suspension lift over aftermarket wheels with 33″ tires as well as aftermarket lighting and a Warn Belleview winch. This CJ is offered with a soft top and doors, records since new, and a clean Texas title.”
