About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This appears to have a PTO, a PTO winch and an overdrive. Could be a good price. It also has what is probably a later model (cj-3a/dj-3a) flathead for some reason.
“1962 Willy’s Jeep cj5 according to what I found on the internet. Correct me if I am wrong – pic of Serial number attached. Needs work. Great project. Need it gone ASAP. Make an offer”
“Last ran 2 years ago. Previous owner said it had carburetor issues. It is not stuck. Rolls good. It is what it is. No title. Bill of sale only. No plow.”
“USED fiberglass tub AND original metal hood. The pictures show the condition of the tub, the hood is not shown in pictures it is inside and hard to photograph. Also have windshield frame.
All for one money 125.00”
“Jeep is a 1963 CJ5 with a 1946 CJ2A flat fender body. Engine is a 3.8l v6 with 3 speed th350 trans. Engine is from a 1978 Buick century (according to block #). rear end is Dana 44 and front is full width Dana 30, about 4″ wider than rear. I believe it has 5:38 gearing, top speed around 45mph. Lots of new parts including: fuel pump, water pump, windshield glass, 4 point harnesses, seat covers, steering shaft/joints. I also built a tube steel sub-frame to mount the body to the frame because the old mounting channels were rusted out and useless. Roll bar is now mounted to sub-frame in the front and not the floorboards.
I have a soft top/doors with all the mounting hardware, windows are foggy but top is in OK shape. Comes with a tow bar and lights. runs and drives great, just got the new tags and have pink slip in hand. Lots of fun, real head turner. Great for trips to the store, beer runs and off course off roading. Not good for freeway or commuting!! I do not/have not had the time to enjoy this so just been sitting except for occasional trip to dinner when I want to look really cool! serious buyers only please, Test drive with cash in hand.
$7,500 obo”

“1956 Willys Jeep CJ5. Six cylinder Studebaker engine, three speed transmission. Engine was built with new block, pistons, rods, head, carburator, and many other new parts. Engine balanced. Approximately 4 thousand miles on engine, rebuilt transmission, transfer case, and all new brakes. 8000lb. Ramsey pto winch. Looking for a 1957 or 1958 Chrysler or Desoto. Might be interested in a trade.”
Jeep lacks brakes and the trencher needs some work. Has a Meyer half cab and a plow up front.
“Here is one of the Holy Grails for the Jeep Collector. The “Jeep-A-Trench.”
I recently uncovered this Jeep from a farm in Winters Texas. The rancher had owned the Jeep since the 1960’s or so. It has the ultra rare Jeep-A-Trench rear end and the front mounted Dozer blade. It is also outfitted with the Arctic top and hard doors. All the glass is good and I even have the back cab glass thats in perfect shape. The seal just dried up.
The Jeep has no found rust through, been in Texas since new. Even the under seat tool box is solid. The Jeep was paint industrial yellow likely when the gear was installed. But the factory original was that nice turquoisey blue.
The Jeep runs and drives but currently has no brakes. The front blade still works and automatic raises and lowers from inside cab. The rear Trencher is all there minus needing a new drive chain and slide on dual sprocket. The unit is otherwise 100% complete.
The Jeep has four new tires and a new battery. I had never even seen one of these Jeeps. There’s a brass data plate that states….”Jeep-A-Trench” on the Jeep. Super cool find.”
