Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Not a ton of value here, but at a minimum does have the VIN plate, the engine, hubs, and rims.

“Selling my 1955 Willys CJ-5 Clean title in my name currently on planned non-op with no fees. All original and unmolested! No rust! The jeep spent most of its life on a ranch in Northern California. Freshly painted and “semi-restored”. The only changes to the Jeep are a new Walck’s wiring harness, 12-volt conversion, 94 AMP alternator, new locking hubs, the original radiator (yes still in) has a new three row copper core and works perfect, new windshield and rubber, new brake lines, master and slave cylinders, new u-joints, front leaf springs rebuilt by Atlas Spring to original specs, new reproduction mechanical fuel pump, and new seats and Mastercraft lap harnesses. I have the original generator, and an original under dash heater unit, which still works. Flat-tow trailer hitch included and towing lights included. Runs and drives great. Asking $8500.’

“Great little jeep. Original motor and transmission. Has some rust and leaks a little oil but over all it’s in pretty good condition for the year. The hard top is great. It only goes about 45 mph but still manages to be a lot of fun. I also have a extra set of tires and it comes with a snow plow. Texts are easier for me during the day.”

“1974 cj5 with a chevy 350 small block and th350 automatic trans. Used to be a really fun jeep but the transmission lost the forwards gears.

“AF 4×4, transfered to Missouri State, used to spray road side weeds, weed killer rusted back deck , spot of frame and spring. Extra parts wind screen, fuel, tank, springs and frame. Engine runs good, last time three years ago. body metal slight rust bust very sold. Warn hubs front. Invested $2,500.”

“1965 Parts are from a jeep I got in 1975 from a local nursery that used it for moving plants etc. around on the grounds. The jeep body was in pretty bad shape but it only had 19,000 miles on it. I put most of the under carriage parts on my 53 cj3b. Put another 15,000 miles or so on it and then it sat until now. These parts are in really good condition. I can send pictures of the ring and pinion teeth, super clean.
Set of front and rear leaf springs, stock from a 1965 cj5. excellent condition. They still have 2 of the original cast type shackles and 2 newer style. Not junk, they still have plenty of arch and are stiff. $100
1965 Dana 44 with the power lock and 4:27 gear ratio. It is apart because I was going to put in a posi and ended up using a different one. The ring and pinion have very little wear. Drum to drum $300

Body tub, pretty rusty, it has been cut up. I still have the all the parts. Quarter panels have been cut off, the bed has been cut out. The cowl is in pretty decent
shape. The tool box lid is in good shape. It would be good for a rat rod maybe. $50
Original 3b frame, pretty straight, its got some cracks and its been stripped of all the mounts. Sandblasted, no rust thru. $50
Pair of fiberglass front fenders. Really nice shape, never painted, never hit, still white gel coat. $450

NEW replacment rear crossmember bumper. Fits 48-64 CJ2A, 3A, 3B. Paid $130, sell for $80

For anybody that has a 2.0 PINTO motor in a CJ.
Header, for a pinto 2.0 in a cj3b. Custom made, aluminum coated, 1/2” thick flange, never loosens. Comes with a removable plate
so it can be run uncorked. $300
2.0 pinto engine. 1972 motor. Pan has never been opened up. I do have the head off, I was going to rebuild the motor. Stock bore, crank has never been ground. The head has a crane cam, springs etc. big valves, the head doesn’t have more than 15,000 miles on it. It still ran good when I parked it. It was starting to smoke some and the body was rusting out. $500
