About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have for sale my 1951 and 1961 Willys jeeps. The 1961 runs and drives great, starts every time but the 1951 does need some work. The 1961 jeep has 10000 miles on a complete rebuild. They are both original. Call for more info.”
“New brakes all around , new fuel tank, new 12 volt wiring system, new battery, new fuel pump, new winshield. Original 4 cylinder 3 speed runs and drives 33″ tires”
“Willy’s cj-5 jeep. Starts, runs, and drives good. F134 Hurricane 4cyl, 3 speed, twin stick transfer case, 5:38 gears, all in good condition. Been converted to 12 volt and Saginaw steering. Brakes work but a little weak. All lights, gauges, and emergency brake work. Bestop soft top needs one new zipper otherwise good condition. Clear title in my name. Great little hunting, trail riding, or ranch jeep. $2900 cash.”
“Up for sale 1975 Jeep CJ5. Powered by the bullet proof inline six cylinder engine. Three speed manual transmission, 4×4. This Jeep is a true survivor!! Very little is non factory as far as I can tell. Except for the kick a** racing seat… And your gonna need it cause when you hit 3rd gear look out 😉
As far as rust, fenders are perfect, except a little 1x1in hole on right side, hood perfect frame perfect. Now the body, this is (I may be the first man to say this about a cj) but this body is 97% rust free. Only spot I can see needs attention is right lower cowel.
Now your getting a titled (in my name, currently registered) 1974 Jeep; that starts, stops, steers brakes, daily driver Jeep that is almost, maybe the least rusty, 1975 original cj left, for $2700 obo!!! If you are looking for a winter project, you found it!!!”
“In fair condition, camouflage green 61 willys jeep soft top,new black bikini, tires need to be rplaced
P.T.O gear driven winch or trade dirt bike motor cycles or something fun and worth while.”
Craig shared this one. There seems to be $100 worth of value here, probably just in the windshield glass. The speedometer suggests this could well be a 1956.
“Selling an old JEEP from the 1950’s. I don’t know what year exactly, but it is from the 50’s. Someone said 1956, but not sure. PARTS ONLY, YOU REMOVE. Windshield is good, many good engine parts as well, headlamps, grill, etc.
$100, YOU MUST REMOVE FROM PROPERTY AND TAKE ALL
First Come First Served. MUST COME READY TO REMOVE WITH TOOLS / TRAILER, AND HELP AT TIME OF VIEWING, NO EXCEPTIONS.
If interested call or text. Worth the money if you are looking for original parts to restore one, there are many good parts and engine looks surprisingly clean. No calls from blocked or restricted numbers.”
Jim is selling his CJ-5. It’s got a ventilating windshield, overdrive, and a Meyer hardtop.
“A 1959 CJ-5. Has a Ford 302 under the hood. 3 speed. Needs a radiator and a battery. Has a Warn overdrive, rare ventilating windshield, hardtop, and 70/30 front seat. Shocks, leaf springs, alternator, and starter has been replaced within the last 100 miles. I hate to sell, but I have no time to finish. Replaced the engine that was in it from a 1971 Mustang. The ford 221 v-8 from a 1962 Fairlane that I removed, was worn out and smoking. Any and all parts I have will go with the sale. I have always wanted to do a full restoration on this one, but work keeps me away from home 11 months a year. It has been sitting under cover for 4 years. Needs minor work to run again.”
The doors and top looks to be Meyer. The rear door is custom.
“1974 CJ7 army jeep number 264 has Regional dog tags .motor was rebuilt has proximately 1500 miles on it. Jeep runs good has locking hubs custom steel bumpers front and rear new floors custom aluminum back door All Steel body”
