This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This could be a great price. Will need some brakes bled at the very least.
“1959 cj5 with 283 chevy motor and 4 speed gearbox. Runs and sounds good, has dual exhaust. New radiator and electric fan, shocks and springs still have labels on them. Just not driven much. Brakes and master cylinder are also new but the master cylinder needs to be bled. Needs windshield glass. Starts right up and drives, but you have to pump like crazy to get brakes. Lights and signals work. New diamond plate and bikini top. Price is $1950 firm. Possible trade ….”

“1957 Jeep Willys, tub, fenders, grill, hood. All in decent shape. T-90 transmission. Chevy 10 spline. 289 motor. Needs rebuilt. 438 gears”
A good running 225 is worth $500 on its own if the mileage isn’t too high. No pics provided.

“64 Willy’s Jeep. Engine is 283 small block Chevy V-8 from an old corvette. Runs extremely well. 33inch super swamper tires on American racing wheels. Transmission and transfer case are out of the jeep but are available. All parts to make it go come with it. Great condition. Tires, wheels and engine are worth twice what I’m asking. Just don’t have time to put back together.”
