Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Those look like d-slot rims to me, but I’m not expert on them.

Back in the late seventy’s my grandpa built this for my uncle to drive around college.
it was last plated in 1990 we had it up north for launching boats and going in the woods.
It has been stored in a garage for the last 2 years.
I put some fresh gas some plugs and a newer battery and she fired right up

Looks like a solid CJ-5. I like the canvas half-doors.

This jeep has some polish to it. The bumper looks unique (possibly a dealer add-on?) and the rims are old school. It may even have a stainless windshield.
