About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“Your chance to own a classic CJ-5. For sale is a very original retired Forest Service CJ-5. Original F-134 flathead engine in good working condition. Frame and body are in excellent condition. Recent electrical, brake and tune-up work makes this a very good runner and an excellent candidate for full restoration. Vehicle has desirable vent front window, hard & soft doors, new cordura seat covers, new bikini top, custom fuel can rack and oversized tires. Please, email contact only as I maintain odd working hours.”
Bill spotted this one. It’s listed as an M-38A1, but has a CJ-5 body. Still might be a good price given it runs/drives/has PTO.
“1964 M38A1 Willys Jeep with smooth 4 cylinder Hurricane engine. 3-speed tranny with hi-lo range, locking hubs and PTO winch. Frame for soft top, 2 sets of cloth doors, extra roll bar, 31 x 10.5 x 15 tires (70%), and fender flares. Front seats only (torn), mild rust on right rear fender.”
Could be a good price on both. Nice vintage Shakey’s Pizza sticker on the back of the 2A’s driver’s seat.
“Ok, so these things are beat up and rough and DON’T CURRENTLY RUN ! they were both “running when parked” but I don’t know much about them besides that, and I bought them out of a barn in this condition. Might have bad engines? might have good engines? I really have no clue !
Blue one: 1947? CJ2A , no windshield or passenger seat, rolls, steers and stops. Has a newer F head 4 cylinder engine (hence the box on the hood) NO TITLE $450
White one: 1965 CJ5 , no windshield or passenger seat, rolls, steers and stops. Has a F head 4 cylinder engine, comes with DMV paperwork signed by last registered owner to obtain title. $450
Or buy both for $800 !
I am NOT into the typical craigslist B.S. games like “send me 20 more pictures” or “will you hold it for a week until I get my welfare check” or “want to trade for a crappy dirt bike” or ” take two-hunnerd?” or “still got them?” or “what’s the lowest you’ll go?” etc.etc.etc. Don’t expect much! they are not $5000 Jeeps for $450, they are $450 Jeeps !!!!!!!!”
“I have a 1964 Willys CJ-5 with a good runing F134 Hurricane 4 cylinder engine. It has a 3 speed manual with a separate stick for overdrive. It does need a clutch but I have a new clutch kit and clutch fork to go with it. The tub is rusty and needs work. 4wd works good. I have the title to it. I am asking $3000obo the best way to contact me is through text at ”
