“1963 Willys CJ5 Jeep
It has the rare Tuxedo Park package and the original Indian Ceramic paint with removable Meyers Hard top.
It has the mighty Hurricane 4 cylinder motor.
I purchased it from the original owner (a rancher in Gunnison) and she told me she was the only person who ever drove it.
It has less than 28,000 original miles and it runs great.
Everything works- heater, wipers, lights, gauges, has new tires.
The frame, body and suspension are solid as a rock.
Transmission and the 4 wheel drive transfer case work just right and it has Warn locking hubs.
This is a rare find that has not been messed up or molested.
I purchased it just to have a project to work on.
I cleaned it up and have done all the maintenance it needed with new hoses, fluids, tune up, brake lines, tires etc.
I am ready to move on to the next project so this one needs a new home.
Original Owner’s Manual and Service Manual and it even has the original Jack!
Tow bar and lights are included.
It has never been re-painted but a lot of value is now in the “rust-o-rod” look.
You can restore a car many times but they are only Original once.
Located in north end of Colo. Spgs..”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
This appears to have a Sears Deluxe Full Top. Looks like a good price.
“Selling a 1964 Willy’s Jeep CJ-5. Appears to be all original. 134 cu. in. “F” head 4 cyl engine.
T-90 3-spd transmission. Model 27 front axle. Model 44 rear axle. Spicer 18 transfer case.
Comes with a period correct ALUMINUM hardtop with doors. I’ve seen the top alone sell for $1200.00. Speedometer shows 59,971 miles which may change, as I drive it occasionally. Starts good, runs good and stops good. Clean title. Currently licensed and insured. It has a lot of new parts.
New front seats, complete new, correct exhaust from manifold back. New fuel tank, fuel sending unit, fuel line to the fuel pump, fuel filter and carburetor. New spark plugs and plug wires. Also installed a new correct oil filter/canister. It comes with 5 matching Goodyear 30 x 9.50-15 tires. The spare has never been on the ground. Five matching wheels with chrome lug nuts. 4 wheel drive works.
Speedometer and all lights work. It was already converted to 12v when I got it. It has a tow bar mounted to the front bumper. No rust. Call or text with questions or to arrange a test drive.”
The interior didn’t look too bad. Maybe worth a look.
