Some paint would really help this.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $175.
This might be a good deal on a source of parts.
“no engine or windshield but plenty of other parts plus a winch it is frozen but fixable no tires but i do have a huge tire pile so I think we could find some to fit there is a transfer case all axles and wheels no seats but I do have a pair that might fit and i do have some parts in the shed IE: a front grill 2 extra hoods and a generator plus a few odds and ends in the shed all for 175.00 firm very cheap for the lot”
UPDATE: Was on eBay. **SOLD**
This appears in good shape. The mileage is listed at just over 27,000 miles. It’s got some mini terras also.
“1961 WILLYS JEEP 1 OWNER 27060 ORIGINAL MILES. SOME RUST SPOTS, SNOW BLADE INCLUDED. HAS A FUEL PUMP LEAK. JEEP RUNS GOOD. ORIGINAL MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION. GOOD RESTORATION PROJECT FOR A JEEP COLLECTOR”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1900
“Very sharp 1957 Willys Jeep with original drivetrain. This is a great offroad toy and can be driven on the street as well. This is a small price for such a classic! Will consider trade for a muscle, classic, or sports car.”
This might be a good deal. A running jeep + a pretty complete chassis.
“1961 willys jeep runs and drives. extra chassis for parts and some extra body parts. I have collected every thing but stock seats. I will let every thing I have for it go for $1500 cash.”
UPDATE: Was $2450. **SOLD**
This might make an interesting rebuild, assuming the body isn’t too bad.
“We have here a good running solid 50 year old Willys Jeep. Original miles 20,000 was used on farm and stored inside until I bought it 12 years ago. I have never put plates on it and only used it to plow my own driveway. I have had it stored out side the whole 12 years but never on the road in salt. I am selling due to knee surgury and unable to work the clutch in the small cab thus I had to get a full size truck to plow with. This 4 cyl Jeep plowed better that the full size truck with the V-8 engine. Would like to see this go to a new home and be restored – the old truck deserves restoration – or just to go ahead and plow for another 50 years.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
This looks like a good price.
“1963 Willy’s Jeep, CJ5 body style $1500 or Best offer. Buick 225 v6 engine, 4 speed transmission. Saginaw steering, Marine Vinyl Seats. New timing chain and fuel pump. Needs brake work and right axel seal replaced.”
UPDATE: Here’s some before and after pics from when Jim owned this jeep. This is one of Jim’s vehicles that he rebuilt. This is likely no longer for sale.
This includes a roll cage that can be bolted in or taken out (as it is in the picture).
“1960 Willys jeep CJ5, original condition. Stock 4-cylinder, 3-speed manual, high and low range transfer
case. Full locker axles front and back. Has lock out hubs. Yes I’m sure it can out climb a Billygoat.
Beautiful full canvas top with canvas doors. Full roll cage that can bolt in or out. Working tailgate with chains. 16 inch wheels with beautiful 7.50-16 agressive 10 ply tires that really make the look. Fuel and water cans on the back. Axe and shovel also. High lift jack on the front bumper. I have a complete new stock exhaust system not installed yet. Nothing really wrong with the exhaust that is on it now though….”
Not bad as long as the rust isn’t too bad. Something appears a little funky with the back floor.
“1955 Willys truck body only for sale. Great potential. No other parts. Call Tim: 586-838-0097
500.00 No trades”
This may be a good price considering a recent rebuild.
“1959 WILLY’S CJ5 JEEP EXCELLENT RUNNING ORDER WITH MINOR RUST MAJOR OVERHAUL 6000 MILES AGO ON THE ORIGINAL HURRICAN “F” HEAD 134 CID ENGINE”
I haven’t seen many dually CJ-5s.
“1969 CJ-5 Jeep Dually, 4cyl, 3sp unit with a dana 70 rearend. Jeep originally had a trencher unit mounted to it. The trencher is long gone, sorry. Jeep has low mileage and runs well. New rebuilt carb, recent tires, new battery, new brakes (currently a little spongy, will bleed before auctins end), heater(aftermarket), wiring harness (painless), etc. Not perfect, but a nice driver or property/Town vehicle. It has a clear VT registration and has been on the road recently. Body in very good condition, some small dents, coarse body work and paint. Frame is straight and clean and retains its full side plate reinforcements from the trencher. Drivetrain all sounds and looks good with a few leaks. Motor runs well, but smokes on start up and a little bit when running …”
This is a good looking CJ — must be those rims. Sounds like price is negotiable, partly due to a possibly bad bearing up front.
“1961 Jeep Willys CJ5 for sale. 221cu in V6. 4 speed Muncie transmission. Brand new Warn Overdrive. Low gears-great for off-roading. 4×4 works well. In 4×4 low you could get out and walk next to it. There is some noise from the front transmission bearing. Mechanic told me it’s about $500 to fix. I will take this in to consideration when negotiating price. Motor is strong. Speedo stopped working about 300 miles ago-cable broke. Comes with bikini top, half doors, full soft top, full soft doors. Has original bumper tow hitch and a Warn 1000 winch on the bumper. Tires are in good shape w/ spare on back. Carburator recently rebuilt. New radiator/thermostat/intake manifold gaskets/head gaskets. Just needs a little t.l.c. Make me an offer. Come test drive it. Jason”
