Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Mike spotted this project. There seems to be value here. As of Monday night the ad was pending, but I haven’t seen any update on it this morning.
“Selling parts or whole. I 1968 cj no title. Was started in 2012 as a frame off restoration. Frame was redone and the tub. Was parked in 2013 outside. Ran and moved on its own power than. Name what parts you want or offer a price for the whole thing. End of the week goes to the scrap yard. Mileage on the motor unknown”
It’s not currently road worthy, but it does have some interesting mods. The mod at the very rear appears to be a gas tank. I suspect the cargo area may be an animal cage of some type.

I post this because it wins the award for the most creative use of a Uhaul item (as a seat cover), along with the unusual rear cargo mod.

This modified CJ-5 has an extended rear. The seller is unsure of the year, but it seems most likely a mid 1960s CJ-5 given the lack of a tailgate stamp and no faux battery box lid.

This may have a set of Kelly hubs. It’s got a winch. The body doesn’t look too bad. There may be parts value here at the very least.

Blaine shared this one, too. It has a PTO winch and warn hubs, so there’s a little bit of parts value here.
