About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Selling my 1961 Willys CJ five runs and drives comes with a complete working plow set up that is original tons of paperwork and history message me with any questions I have others for sale as well”
Blaine spotted this Tux Park IV accidentally listed under the trailers category. Could be worth a look. I can’t tell if there is some whitish spray paint on the lower half of the doors or if that is caused by shadows.
Thanks to Nick for spotting this garage sale. It occurred last weekend, but maybe some jeeps remain. The FC has potential. The yellow DJ-3A appears to have been a cargo loader.
“1974 Jeep CJ5 rebuilt straight 6 cylinder 4×4 new aluminum radiator runs good 7.5 ft Meyers plow electric over hydraulic will push snow all day long no title”
If the floor patches aren’t too bad, this is worth a look.
“For sale I have a nice example of a 1956 Willys CJ5. This is running, driving, Jeep that is in good condition for a 64 year old vehicle. It runs, drives, shifts, and stops like an original 1956 CJ5.
The drive train includes the original L134 Willys Hurricane 4 cylinder, original T-90 three speed transmission, original T-18 transfer case (High/Low), Dana 25 front axle, and Dana 44 rear axle. The transmission shifts smoothly and the clutch operates as expected. The front axle has locking hubs. The electrical system has been converted to 12v.
The tub does have rust, some of which has been addressed by a previous owner’s DIY repairs. The rust is primarily in the floor and associated braces. However, this does not affect the drivability. Continue reading →
The body looks good in the pics, but I’d check out that driver’s side front frame rail, as to me it appears to angle outward. Still, there could be value here.
“57 Willy’s jeep apart to rebuild the engine. Engine is totally rebuild and ready to be put back together. I have no time and it is taking up space in my garage. Everything’s there for the jeep.”
“It’s a red 4×4, 2-dr utility ’56 Willys Jeep, CJ-5. Was going to restore it, but no longer have the time.
Was appraised at $6000, I’m asking $4995 obo.
Received a “Serviceable rating” = restorable, but needs work to be drivable.
Great for collectors or car enthusiasts.
3-speed transmission
38k miles
4cyl engine
Reupholstered seats, repainted body, metal top, spare, jack, tow bar, complete with trailer towing package, winch, and spot light.”

“1974 Jeep CJ5 plow Jeep. Runs/plows/stops. Pretty rough shape but plows like a beast.
Tires are dry rotted, but have very deep tread and hold air fine. Chains on rear.
New starter and recent points/cap/wires,etc.
New F + R driveshaft Ujoints.
Has block heater, but starts pretty good even with out it.
Body is rough, has wood floors but actually a very solid repair tied into frame and body.
Frame is OK
Good mechanicals, has only 16K miles. I was told that it had never been registered and was only used on a large property for many years. I have been plowing my driveway with it for 6 yrs, it has moved a lot of snow for me and will for you too!
Only reason I am selling this cool old plow Jeep is because I bought a K5 Blazer with plow in very decent shape that is roadworthy. I needed a spare rig I can use year round and tow my small boat within the Summer.”
