About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(06/24/2019) CJ’s got this CJ-6 with some updates for sale.
“Super Rare 1963 Jeep CJ6 . Not many made . Much like a CJ5 but longer in the back . This has good running Small Block Chevy engine with an automatic turbo 350 transmission the rest of the drive train is stock . This vehicle is not currently drivable . It needs a 12 volt battery , radiator , radiator hoses and a steering box”
That’s a rare Kelly/Beck half cab. There is some parts value here.
“I am selling a CJ-6 that I picked up a few months ago. In one of my weaker moments when I evidently thought that I had somehow found the determination to actually finish a project I drove to VA to get this.
Here is what I know about it.
I drug it home and pulled the head in an attempt to unlock the engine, but didn’t have any success. Continue reading →

“I have an incomplete Jeep CJ6 that I bought off my uncle with a clean title. I had big dreams and ambitions for it but currently need the cash and the space in my garage.
It’s as is, my uncle told me the last time he messed with it the motor still turned over but that was 10 years ago. It is basically a chastity with motor, transmission and a few other parts.
This would make a great project for either restoration or a one hell of a rat rod mud buggy.
“Posting my 1972 Jeep CJ-6 project. New frame (New, never used, OEM frame from the factory) currently sitting on brand new Old Man Emu suspension. Frame has been rust proofed and POR 15 coated. Dana 44 axle in rear with new pinion seals and brake lines. Tub in rough shape, but very salvageable. Full Meyers hardtop in very good condition. Meyers Half cab in fair good condition. Dana 20 transfer case in good working order, T-15 3 speed transmission in good working order. Also includes 2 sets of wheels/tires: original steel rims with old school steel belted offroad tires and a set of American racing wagon wheels with BGF all terrains.
AX-15 5 Speed transmission with 70k miles on it, new clutch, Dana 300 transfer case already bolted to AX15 will also be included at asking price. No motor with this project at present, but AX15 gives you a lot of options (jeep 4.0, LSX swap, Mercedes Diesel, etc.).
You will need a trailer. Tub is off of the frame, both transmissions and both transfer cases are off of the frame. Frame is a roller at present: suspension and axles are in place. I have a trailer and can transport within New England for extra fee.
Photos below show current state as well as the last time the Jeep was together. everything has been stored in doors on stands since being taken apart.
reason i’m selling: family and I are moving and don’t know where we will end up just yet.”
