It may need some work.
“This is a 1975 jeep CJ six. This is a pretty rare jeep. It is about 11 inches longer than a CJ seven. And this is the precursor to the Jeep scrambler. It has a 304 inch Motor with a four speed manual transmission. I was told it has an overdrive transmission. The axles have been upgraded. It has some rust in the floor. And some rust in the body mounts underneath. It has rust but it’s not a rust bucket. It has dual exhaust with glass packs and the tires are like new. The jeep does run and drive. It drives lik an old Jeep. The steering needs addressed. It is loose at the steering box. The jeep also smokes. I believe oil is leaking down the valve stem’s so new valve stem seals will need installed in the head. It’s just on the passenger side head so not a lot of work or cost at the machine shop. A pin is broken in the rear axle so it’s front wheel drive right now. Continue reading

Engine runs.
“CJ 6 the stretch edition needs a little TLC. But it runs, and the 4×4 works. Needs a tune up Has good tires.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000.
Two curiosities about this CJ-6. One, it appears there is a lien on the title. Two, this appears to have the original cover plate where the transfer case levers should be located. It makes me wonder if this was originally a DJ-6. The serial number ought to reveal that.
“1966 Jeep CJ-6, comes with removable Meyer steel half cab hard top, a period correct aftermarket top that makes the CJ-6 into a little pickup. The doors have rolling tempered window glass, and are complete, I believe one hinge needs to be sourced but the setup is otherwise complete.
Vehicle is a complete barn find – correct first year Dauntless crossfire V6, three speed manual, separate transfer case. Rare 60/40 bench option.
Not currently running, what you see is what you get – a fun, simple, rare old project jeep.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8500.
“Jeep cj 6, Buick v6, no rust have hard top and hard doors, high back cj 7 seats to add as well. All original.”
