Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (10/26/2017) The back seat is torn and the front passenger fender is dented. This appears to have latched at the rear of the hood on both sides??

“1974 CJ6 rare right hand drive. Western vehicle from South Dakota. Runs and drives with rebuilt carb . Exhaust manifold has a crack but have a replacement part. Brakes need going through. Have bikini top and soft half doors”

Very clean. Garage kept. 100% rust free California Jeep. CJ6’s are roughly 20” longer than a CJ5.
-4×4 works great
-Chevy 4.3L V6 with a 4 barrel carb, headers and new quiet exhaust from the headers back. Starts right up with no issues what so ever; I daily drive it. Very fast and has great power. I also have part of a fuel injection kit.
-Smog Exempt
-New air filter and oil change 100 miles ago
-White paint and pin striping from 2009. Looks great but not perfect. Body is extremely straight with no major dents
-Drums on all 4 wheels. Stops well, no leaks.

“FS/FT. 1974 Jeep CJ6. This is my daily driver. The speedometer and odometer are not working, so I do not know the actual mileage.
Within the last 18 months, I have completed the following work:
– upgraded from points to electronic ignition
– rebuilt the carburetor
– replaced all wheel bearings and seals
– all new belts and hoses
– upgraded headlights with a relay wiring upgrade
– rebuilt brakes including all four wheel cylinders
– new tach, oil pressure and temp gauges
– lots of other work done, any questions just ask.”

“1961 willys jeep cj6. I bought as a restoration project but I have a cj3a that I’m doing instead and don’t have time for this one currently. Not sure why the seller thinks this is a “m138 military model”.
